Please don’t get rid of The Unusuals! It’s a great show and give it a chance to build over the summer! Or make it a summer show like Burn Notice on USA– so I can have something while everybody else is on vacation. We don’t need more celebrity reality junk – save the good shows! Life on Mars, Samantha Who, The Unusuals…. “Ya killin’ me, Smalls!”!

please save the unusuals..it is so interesting, its just hard going up against the Law and Order Franchise, try putting it on another night like Tuesday at 10:00, that timeslot is ripe for the picking

I like both show. I’m sick of reality TV. Swith their time slots around. TV is horrible except for Lost! Some nights I watch re-runs on Hallmark, and AMC because I’m sick of the same old stuff. I like Cupid, it’s different and gives a nice ending to the day without getting all stressed out. Keep them and again, find a time that works. Maybe you need to stop going by this so called viewer list. There are viewers I know of and that aren’t and never have been on the list. Like myself.

I usually do not write to any network about a show, but I have really enjoyed The Unusuals. I thought at last not another reality show, I hope that is not what you are replacing it with. I have tivoed every episode. I hope maybe usa or another network will pick it up.

I absolutely love Cupid and The Unsuals. I also think the reality shows are not real, and a waste of space. They should keep both of these shows on the air.

I love cupid its fun and witty! I think abc is making a mistake by not scheduling the final episode. Although it might not be the “powerhouse” dancing with the stars is, it still has 7.56 million viewers. It is unjust and downright disrespectful to the writers, actors, and loyal fans to not air the last and probably final episode of cupid.

I love Cupid, and I love The Unusuals. With everything else going into hiatus, what’s the problem with keeping both these shows on over the summer to build some watchership? I HATE the reality shows. What a bunch of junk. They’re not reality. I want to escape, and that’s not what I want to watch when I escape. Keep both Cupid and The Unusuals on. There is more than one time slot, ya know. And I’m closer to the 49-year-old demographic you all are looking at, so I have more bucks to spend – or NOT – on your advertisers’ products!

Frankly I burned out on cop shows a long time ago. However, I stumbled on the Unusuals last week and this show has “IT”. The characters are fresh, the storles are unique and the show has a great feel.

The main reason why I could imagine a paucity of viewers is the time slot and little or no advertisement. Bring it into an earlier slot and advertise it and it will go. We need good programming so badly it would be a shame not to give this show more time. I got up from the show and immediately tried to determine how to voice my opinion.

Since ABC has cancelled Cupid I will not be watching any show on ABC. It seems that every show that catches my eye they cancel it within the first season. Cupid is such a refreshing show. It was definately wholesome. You can’t expect people to know about the show if you start it toward the end of the season. And seriously, whats with all the so called “reality” shows?!?!? I know they are cheaper to make but c’mon…..please end them. There is such a thing as the show been on way too long. ABC really needs to start keeping shows through the first few seasons so they can see if a show really has a chance…but you can’t see if cupid would be good if you only have it on for 4 weeks….please give it a real chance.

I love this show- it is the only one I DVR’d. I do not like the time or day it was on. Should be on a Friday night when there is nothing to watch in the 8 or 9 pm slot. My two cents is they should play up the Mount Olympus part, make it a little more fantasy-I am a former Charmed addict who has found nothing to fill that void…..they should save this show.

strange enough,cupid is much better than many shows around but yet again flagged
as a failure I think that .it is not the show.but it’s marketing fails spread the word people the show is good.

I am sincerely hoping they make an effort to give this show a chance. Not everything on evening television has to be a crime or hospital drama. Between ER (now done), Grey’s, Private Practice, the 3 CSIs, the Unit, Law and Order (pick one, there are several to choose from, on at just about ANY time of day), Numbers, 24, Bones, Cold Case, Criminal Minds, and now Southland, enough is enough! I’m not knocking them, some of those are faves of mine, but it is nice to wind down and escape for once and actually watch something that makes you smile with humorous banter, warm fuzziness (suck it up guys), and not having to watch “blood and guts” all the time. I LOVE THIS SHOW… Talking about canceling it, not even 4 shows into the season, is INSANE! We who love this show would do ANYTHING to help!!! Please, please save the show!

I didn’t even KNOW Cupid was on until a friend mentioned it! (And then, of course, I went onto ABC’s website and caught up on all three aired shows in enough time to watch the newest one yesterday.

And I like it! It’s intelligent and fun and interesting and all the characters we’ve been introduced to so far have been interesting to me.

I liked the original show too, I remember and was disappointed when it got cancelled, but this one is fun too.

I think part of the problem with the premier of Cupid was that they didn’t market/promote it right. I am not an avid tv watcher, but I do get plenty of internet marketing for shows (like the Unusuals) and every five minutes on the TVGuide Channel they’re mentioning something about American Idol (Which I will not watch if you tied me down and taped my eyes open), so I think the marketing/promotion for the show was flawed, personally, which would explain it’s lack of viewership, IMHO.

Yo everyone, I am able to get this show just by Internet cause there is no chance to see it on TV in Lithuania… And plenty of people are keep downloading it… Everybody wait for the new episode… The Unusuals never heard about that one, but The Cupid I`m tracking from the first day… best not SciFy TV show ever shown up in the past years…

I’m sure that what is written here will have little to do with the decision that most likely has already been made . However, I feel compelled to put in my $0.02 worth.

I’ve only been following Cupid on the internet. Not that that matters, I wasn’t included in the polls. But there are a wealth of viewers, like myself, that found the show very entertaining. Why don’t they try it on a different night or time slot? Give it a chance to catch on via word-of-mouth. I liked the show and will miss it when they inevitably pull it.

This is TV at it’s best. Everything that’s airing must draw the most viewers and make the most $$$$, otherwise it’s not worth it. Such a sad state of affairs for TV.

That’s YOUR opinion, to which you’re entitled. Personally, I thought it stunk, which is MY PO, to which I’m just-as-entitled as you are to yours.

Again, just YOUR opinion. The majority of American TV viewers think otherwise. If not, then “Cupid” would eclipse “American Idol” in viewership.

I don’t smoke. However, FG wasn’t entirely off the map; it was being aired in reruns on several netlets & individual stations. And it was NOT a flop as the first “Cupid’ was-Fox wanted to make room for another show, so FG, the lowest-rated of their animated series , became the sacrificial lamb.

I stand by my statement that a failed show should not be resurrected.

I love watching Cupid. It’s light-hearted, fun, and about love/chemistry. Bobby is adorable. Just wish he’d carry his case of arrows behind his back all day. Totally hot. I really wish ABC would stop pulling shows.. At least finish a season rather than all of these half shows. It gets really disappointing. Perhaps might not even bother checking out ABC, because I don’t like getting hooked on a series and then it gets cut without any sort of resolution. If you’re going to test trial so many new shows, post a new section: “Hope you like it, because if you don’t we give it the BOOT! Disclaimer: Don’t get attached.”

The Unusuals is a terrible show. The writers are trying too hard to make it funny. I couldn’t sit through an entire show. At least with Cupid, it appeals to a wider audience, even the teenage demographics would be able to view it.

I don’t think studios give shows enough of a change to survive. It normally takes at least 7 – 10 episodes before word-of-mouth and bloggers can adequately recommend it. I’m sick of reality TV and it’s a shame that they’re taking away the heart of television–real entertainment.

I like the two goofy cops on the Unusuals. The other actors stink. Drop the rest of the show and do a show with those two only. They’re interesting. The female cop with the lead role stinks. Cupid is PU all the way around.

The original Cupid was pure brilliance and I was huge fan of it. The remake has been growing on me, but it definitely isn’t as good as the first one was out of the starter’s gate.

But like I said, it’s been getting better. Personally I feel that’s because I’m getting used to new people playing the characters I so loved in the original.

These days though, networks are even more cutthroat than they were when the original Cupid got axed (and was allowed more time before the plug was pulled).

Unfortunately, it’s not going to make it — again. I was hoping the new one would stay on long enough though so that the old series would be released on DVD!

IMO, “Cupid” shoulda never been revived. It was a flop in its first life, & shoulda been left in TV Hades. Have we EVER seen a failed show successfully resurrected? This tells me the creative minds at ABC are in estivation, unable to come up with anything ORIGINAL. “Holy Shades of Dawn Ostroff!”

I guess they didn’t learn anything from CBS’ debacle in reviving “Jericho”, which, unlike “cupid”, had a fair viewership & wasn’t that old.

If I owned a business, I certainly wouldn’t wnat those ABC suits running it for me!

I am very upset by the intent to cancel Cupid. I notice that the market that is checked for ratings is the 18 to 49 age group, what about the rest of us? Apparently the remaining millions of us don’t count.
I was so happy that there were two new shows on abc that I enjoy every week and now your asking me to choose. Don’t we have enough sitcoms and cop shows? Cupid was something new and I liked it. It was wholesome in an adult way. The same thing happened to Lipstick Jungle on nbc. I bet the same age group was watching that show too.
