TV show description:
A continuation of the original Saved by the Bell series, most of the characters have moved on from high school to the fictional California University. Though they’re older, they still get into crazy situations every week.
Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), and Samuel “Screech” Powers (Dustin Diamond) attend the university and are joined by three new friends, Leslie Burke (Anne Tremko), Alex Tabor (Kiersten Warren), and Danielle Marks (Essence Atkins). Danielle only spends a short time there before transfering to another college, and Zach’s old flame, Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen), transfers in.
In college, Zack originally falls for Leslie, but once Kelly joins him at the school, he realizes he’s torn between two lovers. After some indecision he decides his heart belongs to Kelly. While waiting for him to decide, Kelly has a relationship with anthropology professor Jeremiah Lasky (Patrick Fabian).
Mike Rogers (Bob Golic) is the dorm advisor. He seems tough but definitely has a softer side. Later, Dean Susan McMann (Holland Taylor) takes an interest in this group of kids and develops a dislike of Zack and his scheming ways, similar to Zack’s early relationship with Mr. Belding at Bayside High.
