Watched all of saving grace on netflix.. my god I love this show.. grace was in my dreams all last night.. I hate that you blew her to kingdom come.. left me crying and emotional .. to bad ya didnt keep this one on the air.. hate hate hate all these stupid reality shows.. won’t name them.. Grace was the best tv series i have seen in years.. ya let a good one get away.

I cried so hard when seeing the last episode of season 4 and am hoping they will bring back Saving Grace. In a corprate standing I could understand stopping a show that really didnt have many viewers. But I know that there are shows on TNT that have less viewers and are still up and running. TNT could still make a profit.

I have to say I saw the tv series advertise yrs ago. I recently sit down and watched all 46 episodes on Netflix and I have to say I was impressed with the structure,emotion,and creativied of this series. Wow but why end it now was my thoughts, Why cant Grace be the angel along with Earl to help others now. This was one of the best series Ive watched in years. Bring it back.

It is an insult to intelligent viewers and reveals the grade school mentality of the decision makers at Fox TV Studios – just another way that greedy billionaires are sticking it to the rest of us.

Saving Grace is a great show that u money hungry jerks will never understand..
I lost all hope and faith in everything and just watch Saving grace entire 3 seasons for the first time and slowly started to feel different, then the big screw u like everything in life, u money hungry asses take it off the air and end a really great show.
in a lot of ways I could relate to the character of grace.
but sadly as always things that help anyone are taken away and usually by capitalist pigs.

This show was amazing. The writers did a fantastic job in portraying Grace and her passion for her job and life. I had never seen this program until it came out of netflix. I sat and watch all 46 episodes in three days! I got hooked and now it canceled!! 6.4 million Viewers were not enough for HBO . It would be great if they brought it back but it will never be the same.

I am a TV junkie and stumbled on Saving Grace. I agree with Vivian and others that his was one of the best shows that I have ever seen. I watched all the ep’s on Netflix in about 2 weeks, and had chills watching the final ep. I really hope they decide to bring this show back, but I am just not sure that is going to happen. Holly Hunter is amazing !

Saving Grace is one if not the most entertaining shows of all time. Holly and the ensemble cast are intense, and every character is so believable. I can’t help but think that studios need to stop worrying about the bottom line at times, when something this incredible can be produced. While networks and television keep choosing reality TV over this kind of storytelling, and tremendous value this art form has. The power, and beauty of it all, lost to cheap reality show. Please bring it back, in any format. Quality is what we deserve. I will miss this incredible story and cast forever.

I was very saddened with the canceling of my favorite show Saving Grace. This was a tremendous show dealing with reality of life, something everyone relate to. I too had hoped, that cable would have picked it up for more seasons but they didn’t and the last
show where grace sacrificed her life was done so beautifully everyone of the actors and actresses made me cry. Well with her gone from the show because she is dead makes it certain it will not be back. I am as mad as heck because they always take the entertaining show off and leave the crap to watch, just like it happened to Charmed another hit show they axed. I am so sadened ,if there was a way to bring back the series of Saving Grace I
certainly be watching even if it was in reruns. I also heard that it wasn’t finances but some holier then thou people complaining of the sex and content. Its a shame cause there is more fans for the show then not.

I just finished watching the DVD set of Saving Grace Fnal Season – of course it took several sittings to see it all. What a fabulous production this series was. Regardless of the humanistic side that was brought out, what I got out of it was that God loves us all – even when we are full of darkness. And yet, Grace finds salvation and ends this series with the ultimate sacrifice of her life. Just to rid the world of evil. Absolutely wonderful production, and I don’t think it could have ended any differently than it did. The writer did a fantastic job with this final season. Watching this DVD set also helped me piece everything together and things were so much clearer! I was sad when the series ended, but as I know it’s all about the bottom line, I’m glad it ended with so much class leaving such a strong impact. Great job!

Holly Hunter is a wonderful actress and the supporting cast has been outstanding. I am saddened to see this show cancelled because of financial reasons. It seems that somewhere, somehow money should have been found to save this show. I would love it if some other company would pick it up so it could continue because it certainly has a large enough fan base. I’d even be happy with a movie….they couldn’t possibly mess one up as badly as the last Sex in the City.
Shows like this getting cancelled and leaving tripe such as Jersey Shore on is the reason that I’ve dumped cable. Please bring back SG?

I do not understand these networks in cancelling certain beloved TV shows. Saving Grace was my get away from reality once a week. The cast meshed together so well. I would love to see it return as a yearly mini series or a Movie. I was hoping that one of the other networks or cable would be smart and pick it up, and run with it. See new episodes being made. I find Saving Grace very entering exciting.entertaining, antisapating. You are always left with whats going to happen next. She was a real charactor with real problems not a squeeky clean cop who’s perfect. She portrayed a real hunan side who made mistakes, and sometimes made bad decisions. People can relate to this kind of charcarer.

There is so much drivel on TV, just “chewing gum for the mind” that when Saving Grace came along it was a breath of fresh air. A very special program which deserves to be brought back, but how would you resurrect Grace? Maybe she could work with Earl!

I am from Austria and I’m through season 1 and soon through season 2. The show is constantly improving. I still don’t know why I like it, because cop stories aren’t my thing. But — the cast, the humor, the speed, and the little piece of mystery….it is all together that makes a good show. Sadly sometimes they do speak so fast’n slang I can’t even understand with rewinding the scene AND english subtitles. Although, I’m addicted. It’s a real real shame that this stupid FOX cancelled it. As mima here said, there are so many good shows victims of FOX’s stupid policy. Did you know that there’s still NO German translation out there for the show ? Why ? Does one think that 100 million German speaking people are not worth or would not be interested ? That’s a show about a not-so-young-anymore woman who is still young inside. She’s also sexy, full of life and energy, and people all over the world, in her age (which is also mine) would probably like to see her. But FOX didn’t even try ! Stupid, stupid, stupid….I want to found a company catching all good abandoned shows and renew them, just to show them slimeheads what they are throwing away so mercyless for the dollar ! Who’s with me ? Bill ! Give some Millions ! You won’t regret it.

AS always mediocrity and profit above all wins–again. A show doesnt have to just pay for itself-it has to make enormous profits to justify it’s continued existence. Because taking pride in their product and making a great film is not important. FOX doesnt care about THAT , only $$$.And most Americans don’t care about quality either.Yes, we are becoming more ignorant w/ every passing day and I believe that the PTB like it that way. The few of us who DON’t eat the crap they try to feed us are SOL.

I love saving grace and I can’t believe that they would keep ****** shows on the air or shows that are so old that I can’t remember ever seeing them and you can’t keep this show on air. It is crazy and ridiculous. This series shows what its like to be in the shoes of someone so ordinary and plain but crazy and funny and how something so extraordinary happened to her she got an angel. So why is this show so much more expensive than others? I will tell you why because it has a religious factor to it and not much people go for that these days and we should be ashamed of this fact. This is how I feel about the whole situation.

Fox is beyond exhausting with the way they are constantly taking the best shows off the air. Remember John Doe, Firefly, Arrested Development, and many more. And now Saving Grace!!! You don’t think that God’s love for Grace, with all her faults, is inspiring? YOu may be “Miss Perfect” but most of us aren’t; Grace’s relationship with Earl changed her and brought hope to the rest of us. I don’t drink and I don’t sleep around but I do have faults and if God can love Grace, then He will surely love me too. That’s not inspiring? The only difference between Grace and all of those who met the “Touched By An Angel” team is that those people had fleeting moments and miraculous conversions. Grace, like many of us, required more convincing of her Beloved Child status. But she did change and we got to see it. If you had removed the timber from your own eye instead of concentrating on the splinter in hers, you would have seen the changes and rejoiced at Earl’s message…

Does anyone else remember what happened with “Cagney and Lacey”? There was such a viewer write-in that CBS brought it back. There have been other series that have been resurrected in the same manner. It’s also quite possible that FOX will resurrect it within their own network’s line-up. The write-ups that I’ve read indicated that it was an expensive three-party arrangement with TNT. Makes one think… perhaps even hope???

Grace plays the Oklahoma lady perfect. By the way, Handaroko, is spelled Andaroko, it’s a town in Oklahoma. They eat at Johnny’s, a great hamburger place in Oklahoma City that has been around for over 40 years. The cops names are names of towns in Oklahoma. Earl is a great angel. I hope they keep the show. I love all the OU, Boomer Sooner stuff…and the mention of the streets in OKC. I loved the show with Barry Switcher. And love the longhorn “hate.”. OKC is a great place to grow up. There is more to the state then the OKC bombing.

Leave it to the Fox network to abolish a good TV series. Nothing they say, or do, makes any sense. If they can’t backup our president, why would they backup a TV Series!
Most reality shows stink, but then I guess Fox gets the people that show up on those shows, on a really low budget.

We will think of them for years, wondering what happened, making up what to us would be a fitting continuation to the their stories. But in “TVLand” we don’t normally have so many unanswered questions…I will miss them all, terribly.

To Admin: You have answered direct quetions in the past, hopefully you will find an answer to this fianl question: Is there any discussion, from Nancy Miller or any of the principals involved with “Saving Grace” that might lead to even a two-hour movie wrapping everything up? Or, continuing the story? There must be a way to get some closure, whether it takes place 6 minutes or 6 months from the explosion…
Please, can you find out for us? Those rushed-through last three episodes were just not a proper conclusion for that wonderful show.
And yes, we know that in “real life” there are always threads of life left dangling, but this is FICTION, not reality, and we the viewers want to know how the rest of the cast deals with Grace’s absence (or angelic return). Please? Tell them we are begging to know the aftermath…

I just finished watching the finale and I have to say that I am absolutely with you! Evil may not have been vanquished from the world but Grace was saved. I’m disappointed that the series is done and maybe a sweeter ending might have pleased some (even me, I balled like a baby at the end), but not everything gets wrapped up pretty with a bow. (Especially if the writers really thought they had a season to do it and then had to make it happen in 3 episodes. No wonder the final “season” was a little weird and herky jerky!)

I have lived a lot, had a lotta fun, made a jillion mistakes and unwittingly caused misery for myself and others. What I haven’t done, I’ve seen others do. So if I was judging “Grace” (didn’t mean to) it’s because I once was a hellion similar to her and I figure I was judging her for being a self destructive HUMAN (been there, done that) . She at least was in law enforcement, I was just a nurses’ aide for too brief a time, so didn’t do enough care giving to counter my foolish misdeeds. Some of you seem to have MISSED that I said I ADMIRED the character. Didn’t mean to sound like casting stones, as I’ve been a great big sinner myself. Because of my own flaws, I wanted to yell at her to listen to Rhetta, and times there were I also wanted to hug her and say slow down, take a breath, you’re too good inside to be beating yourself up this way… I like it that someone has pointed out there was only one body bag, and yet, that was the one they were saluting… Phooey on “reality” shows. I like dramas, and off-beat shows (like “Eureka” and “Warehouse 13″). Sometimes I enjoy American and British sit-coms, but right now I feel the only really good one is “The Big Bang Theory”. And I still feel, somehow, the ending of “Saving Grace” did not fit the story line. And that’s my story and I’s sticking to it. So dere! Rejoice dearhearts, and have fun in your lives.

PLEASE, people, stop blaming TNT or the writers!
It was FOX STUDIOS’ decision to stop production on the show, because it did not make enough profits for billionaire “Daddy Rupert.”
They did not care that Grace and Earl were dearly beloved or that they made a difference in our lives. We could write for years and they will not bring her back. Those cr***y reality shows are cheap and easy and therefore will take up more nad more air time. Luckily, there are other networks and other good shows.
But, don’t blame TNT. And don’t blame the writers. They did the best they could in the time they were given to wrap up the series. And, they did leave some openings for continuation if Nancy Miller is able to find another production studio and the actors are still available…

I agree , that TNT is making a hugh mistake, but than it is always about the mighty $$$$$$ I will though give them a big HAND on the fact that they have Rizzoli & Isles, Memphis Beat and the return of Dark Blue, LOVE them all! oh I forgot Southland I, love, love them all.

I didn’t know the show was ending until I looked it up today. My husband and I loved this show!! We are in our sixties, so it wasn’t for just the younger crowd. I fully expected the next season to have Grace as an Angel standing buy all her friends and family. That would have been a great way to continue and build on the show. So sad,,,we will miss them all, esp. Earl.

Saving Grace…saving? Grace? Grace is a gift of unmerrited love. Leaving behind all that loved her in anguish? I get the whole Joan of Ark relevance, but I don’t watch TV. I don’t know who won Idol or whether Grey still has anatomy. I do…did…watch Grace. The thing I liked best was that she screwed up so much, but still had God’s grace toward her. I guess maybe some of us can relate to that. I thought she might have been preserved beneath the pile of mailbags-like the three biblical guys in the fire who walked out untouched. I would have liked to see Angel-Cop go on to do some amazing things, but the writers seemed to have lost creating the hope we have-like Rhetta-ever hopeful in faith that God will see us and deliver us from evil. It never really was Grace’s job anyway. She was more of an icon of the limits of God’s love toward us. And Earl had a lot more to say about that if he’d have been given a chance.

The series was starting to get pretty silly and less story lines of the other great characters. Yeah – I know it’s called “Saving Grace” . . .but come on . . Grace breaking into the dead girl’s room to go through her things and then hiding in her closet, brother! And the trip to Mexico and all of that absurdity – I was getting put off enough with the dead cattle show and using the s— word all the time – just because they could.

I am regreatful that others are allowed to make choices in what I watch, and when I will no longer be allowed to view my favorite shows. I am upset, to say the least. Saving Grace should be saved. My heart is in this completely. There are no words to explain feelings, and I am left with a void.

While I agree with the majority of the comments – that the ending was unfulfilling and left many loose ends – it was still heart wrenching. As for Hamm throwing away the ring at the end scene, I understood the pain that caused him to do so. He had never had a chance to show it to Grace, much less ask her to marry him. Did anyone but me wonder about the fact that only ONE body bag was carried from the explosion? Most ardent fans believed the “writer” (Huck?) was evil and the devil’s advocate, however, he walked earth as a man and he bled when shot. Throughout this series we’ve seen many things happen to Earl with no consequences – including when Grace drove her car through him. So, I am left to wonder if “evil” (or the man doing evil’s bidding) could then be killed, leaving a corpse behind. If so, I choose to believe that perhaps it was not Grace and there will be a continuation of some kind – via mini-series, movie or a revival of the series – that will satisfy all the questions many of us still have.
