I have not been interested in watching a Medical Drama since the show Emergency ended that is until the Pilot Episode of Saving Hope aired!!! I will admit though that what drew my interest in checking it out in the first place is that Michael Shanks is in it and I have been a huge fan of his since Stargate SG-1. Anyways the shows storyline is beyond genius, because not only does it give as realistic of an inside view of the inner workings of the surgical department of a teaching hospital, but it also does a tremendous job of displaying what an out-of-body experience might be like for people who are caught between the cross-hairs of life and death. Furthermore it also shows that a Doctor is as human as one of their patients, since Charlie’s fiancĂ© Dr. Alex Reid has continued to carry on as Chief Surgical Resident despite the fact that she has been barely holding herself together emotionally as she has been grieving, while at the same time being the most hopeful that he will eventually wake up from the Coma he is in. So please don’t cancel such a wonderful show NBC!!!

I will be devastated if “Saving Hope” is not renewed by NBC for next season. Every week I am on the edge of my seat waiting for what the following weak’s episode will bring. And it is nothing like any other medical show on tv. Medical shows are not a genre I normally watch, and it is the only one I have tuned in for in many years. Add that to genuine excitement for a tv show when I just didn’t think I cared that much about tv any more.

What’s it going to take for NBC to renew it? And will there be any way for us to get season 2 if NBC doesn’t pick it up? Maybe SyFy would pick it up, because of its fantasy theme? Will it be released on DVD?

My husband and I both have enjoyed this show. Give it a chance and bring it back. It seems all the decent shows don’t make it but the reality garbage does.

Please keep this show!! It is very good-It seems that shows that are written for cerebral people tend to be cancelled way too early; and the ones that require only a few brain cells to watch are renewed over and over!!!
