Scandal canceled are you kidding me? This absolutely positively one of the best shows on television. If persons are not physically able to watch the show for one reason or another than they are recording the show and I don’t know if the Neil ratings can capture those numbers or not, but make no mistakes about it the talk in many venues in about scandal. So please most definitely cancel Scandal it is a top rated show in every sense of the word.

SCANDAL: First year thought real good show. I know ratings low and brought back.-Great Second seson began great worth watching and then second half season fair to poor. Probably gets a RENEWAL with PROBABLY A Great final show. YOU BETTER { IF renewed } change the story lines. End of season SCANDAL went from bad to awful. Finish up some of story lines and don’t DRAG ________________on and on.

Scandal is a great series full of funny and interesting things happening. The actors have great chemistry and it’s fun to get away from reality. Clue to the networks HATE REALITY SHOWS!!!!! We want to escape reality not watch it on TV. The reality shows are stupid and full of people making idiots of themselves. I’m not alone in this view. READ VIEWERS COMMENTS! We don’t care who goes out with whom or gets the job or wins the race or grabs the bachelor, etc. Keep television what was meant to be: fun entertainment to help us escape from life’s everyday reality. Thanks

I love this show. It’s so juicy in all the right ways however, I would like to see Olivia with Mr. President! They would make an amazing couple, and it would be an epic love story. I can’t express how much I would love to see a third season!

I enjoy Scandal! I enjoy the different relationships. Looking forward to seeing who Olivia will choose as her love! “PLEASE DON’T DO THIS!” Don’t cancel Scandal! Can’t wait for the next Season! The brakes are frustrating!!!!!

I wasn’t going to comment, but I feel like some1 needs to give u all an explanation for the gaps. I want to start by saying I HATE THE GAPS/BREAKS 2. Ok so here’s why they have them. There’s several reasons, actually.

    1) Most shows have 22-24 episodes per season. The TV viewing season runs from mid-Sept thru mid-May. Do the math. That’s approx. 36wks. So there u have it….22 episodes and 36 wks. That’s an extra 14wks(3 &a half months)
    2) Who watches TV during the Holidays? That’s right….not very many ppl. The ratings for TV shows during the Holiday’s are horrible. Therefore the networks aren’t going to air new episodes if nobody will be watching.
    3) The people that make the shows ie: Actors, Producers, Directors, etc. They are human. They have to have breaks too. It takes them about 8-10 working days to film just ONE episode. Then that ONE episode is in post production for up to 30+ days. It takes 44-45 wks to shoot 22 episodes + holidays off, etc.
    4) The networks have to decide when they will air the new episodes, and they do that based on ratings. Which weeks generally have the most ppl watching TV and they air the new episodes then. For example May Sweeps. If you’re an avid TV viewer, I’m sure you’ve heard that phrase before. Anyhow a lot of ppl watch TV during those weeks in particular so the networks like to save their best episodes to air during that time. They also put a lot more money into promotions and advertising during that time, to get the viewers amped up and excited.

So there you have. It basically comes down to numbers. 36wks to fill, but they only have 22 wks worth of new episodes. Like I said in the very beginning, I too, hate the gaps, but I understand. I don’t agree with it, but I understand. I feel like the networks should A) order 33 episodes(that gives a wk off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, &New Years) B) Have the ppl that make the show start filming earlier, so they have enough time. C) Shorten the damn season. Why does it have to be Sept-May? Make 22 episode seasons work. Just air them from Sept-Feb. See problem solved. Or D) Split the 22ep season in half and air the 1st half from Sept-Dec. with Dec. having a Mid-Season Finale, then start it back up in March.

I don’t care how they do it, but the gaps do get old. I don’t have the best memory and when I wait 3wks for a new episode, I tend to forget what happened on the previous episode. Which causes me to lose interest, as with other people. I also hate it bc some ppl do get mad about it and stop watching altogether, causing the ratings to drop. Which in turn can cause the show to be cancelled. There are shows out there now, that do not have breaks. They air the episodes straight through, from start to finish and they have steady ratings. Those shows are Body of Proof and The Following. BOP had a short 1st season and it had great ratings, so ABC brought it bk for a 22ep 2nd season, which did not do as well. Simply bc of the gaps and breaks. When ABC brought it bk 4 it’s 3rd season it was a short season(I believe 15eps) and they’re running them straight through……..And guess what????? It has great ratings. We just need the networks to shorten or lengthen the seasons and it would work out perfectly:)

i think scandel should come back for a third season because i like the show and fitz and olivia should be together

  8. Unknown says

Start airing new shows each week, or cancel the show. It’s beyond annoying to watch repeats when you just want to move forward in the storyline. It’s also one of the quickest ways to lose viewers, btw.

I’m from south africa and I know it has a great following here I agree with thr masses about the gaps they not working I understnd mid season breaks that some of the series have but PLEASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Do not cancel it

  10. Varcia says

I love this show, especially the scandal between Olivia and Fitzgerald. How ever I don’t like all of these gaps and reruns in between, it makes me uninterested bringing negative attitudes towards the show and there for turning away a lot of potential viewers. Do not cancel just show the episodes regularly please.

  11. says

  13. Brenda says

Please do not CANCEL – it is a great drama being shown on TV…. better than those reality shows that are aired. I can’t wait to see what Season 3 has to offer. Please keep SCANDAL around for Season 3.
