Count Olaf has some new company. Deadline reports K. Todd Freeman has been cast in Netflix’s adaptation of the Lemony Snicket book series, A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Earlier, we reported that Neil Patrick Harris will play the show’s villain, Count Olaf.
A Series of Unfortunate Events follows the lives of three orphans who are sent to live with Count Olaf, their eccentric and evil relative.
In the Netflix series, Freeman will play Mr. Poe, the “bumbling and clueless banker” who is in charge of the orphan’s affairs. Timothy Spall played Poe in the 2004 film adaptation.
No word yet on when the new series will be released.
