This show is amazing in that it truly depicts what goes on for the actors. directors, composers and writers of Broadway shows! The music is incredible, the acting is incredible and the talent is overwhelming! I do think that the character of Karen Cartwright needs to be changed so that she’s not so wishy-washy and boring. Katherine McPhee is an excellent performer/singer, but, right now, her Smash character leaves very little room for the audience to like or love about her.
Great change in the story by putting Ivy back in Bombshell and Karen in the contemporary off-Broadway show-Hit List! Smart Move that allows for much more credibility to the actors/characters and their reason for driving the show/story lines forward in the correct and more obvious direction.
Please allow this show to continue next season! It breathes new life into television each time it airs weekly!

Don’t you dare cancel Smash. Its the only show I watch on NBC and without they will lose so many viewers. Abc family, cw 11, etc are all overshadowing NBC and this is the first hit they had in a while. They should have a third season as a tie breaker if that one is poor to then they can cancel it but its too amazing to cancel. They have the hottest cast jack davenport and I mean Grace herself, they have an acting legend. Sean Hayes is amazing too its JACK!!!!!! Katherine Mcphee is a star on the rise and megan hilty just came out with an amazing new album. I even like her writing partner hes adorkable and lovable and the music is amazing. I spend hours a day rewatching the musical numbers. That show WILL be on broadway and NBC will be sorry they didn’t renew. Besides they have a new musical on the rise Hitlist!!!!

DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW! It is refreshing to see what goes on behind the scenes of Musical productions. The cast is very talented and the story line needs to go back to Bombshell. More story lines on the cast’s personal lives will help. The music is great and Catherine McPhee’s character needs to spice up. She is boring, unlike her blonde competition.

Please keep the show!.. We need some type of “Non-Reality” entertainment with a bit of culture. I am so appalled at the number of shows graphically depicting people being dismembered, slain or terrorized in increasingly bizarre means by insane criminals.. It is getting more and more difficult to find amusing, thought provoking or dramatic fictional entertainment that does not include a blood spatter test..

PLEASE do not cancel this show!!! It’s amazing and there’s not really anything else like on tv. I love all the original songs from Bomshell and Hit List! Just think of all the hard work that goes into writing and recording those songs, and choreographing and filming scenes. It’s definetly come a long way since the beginning, so please don’t cancel it before we see just how far it can really go. My dream would be for Bombshell and Hit List to make it to Broadway where viewers of Smash can see them come to life!

SMASH was a great show last year. The storyline may have needed some improvement but the overall show with the music and the idea was great. It wasn’t promoted enough this year . Sadly, the storyline is really floundering this year, but I will watch it to the end. I even downloaded a lot of the songs. One needs to appreciate the music and I think a lot of the people nowadays just can’t appreciate what potential this had.
