It’s was a decent series that captured my attention. I would say however, Rome was so much better. And seeing that first was hard to except the Spartacus series in a sense that the dramatics of “realness” bored me and at times deemed itself likea cheap daytime soap show. But, looking forward to more, and hoping they can keep the story line going with much more realistic graphics.

i have to tell the producers of SPARTACUS that i so very much loved the show. I was so dissappointed when the season was finished, i really had no interest in tv. The graphics alone is enough to make you feel as if you were in the show yourself. You guys really out did yourselves with this one. And now i’m estatic with joy to know there will be another season, thank you. This is better than daytime soap opera’s. Maybe this could be an on going show as well. Don’t stop at two season’s. PLEASE

I enjoyed this show so much. I was truly excited to find out they were going to have a season two. I can’t wait….patiently anticipating season two. There was drama, action, betrayal, love, lust and guts. What more can you ask for in one show.

I am anxiously waiting with anticipation for the second season of spartacus. I updated version is so intense. It has it all. I could not stop watching the episodes. I was so engrossed in watching, I was late for work the next morning.

What an awesome show. I watch reruns all the time. In fact, after I watched an episode, I would wait an additional hour to watch it again, and then on demand. I re-watched season 1 on demand after the season had ended from episode one, to the final episode. Never tiring. Great show, great characters, love the writing and the acting is fantastic!! I hope this series will be around for quite a while!

If that is true about a season 2 of Spartacus that is awsome I can’t wait blood and sand was the best show on tv me and my friends would look forward to it every week. And watch the same episode twice a week I have the hole season recorded, and for a new one to come out would make my year… It is by far the BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!

The reasone it is so long between seasons is because Andy whitfield (spartacus) was diagnosed with cancer and they didn’t want to get rid of him.
Season two is coming out in January and I can’t wait! It’s what me and my boyfriend would do together every friday night. But I do agree it’s a shame they got rid or Varo, he was one of my favorite characters.
Andy is responding well to treatment and will be in some of the episodes of season two. Can’t wait!!

Spartacus is the best show that the Gods have ever brought to us. Me and my family would be so psyched and happy if we watched season 2 please come out with it soon. Spartacus is an inspiration to me to my wrestling and judo training and the 1 month of kickboxing I get. I think of his training and hard work when doing football too. If humanity was smart we would live and survive as they do in Spartacus there wouldn’t be “global warming” there would be no oil spills we could live with blood, sweat, and tears. we could change warfare back to where you actually had to work not just pull a trigger. in their time you had to train and be close to your enemy and watch the life flee from them. with todays warfare its kinda the same but they are total opposites. I really think that todays world is jacked up beyond relief. there is no more belief in the Gods except for me. now its all science. I really believe that science is a lie because it just so happens that there are enough planets in our solar system for the number of Olympians in Olympus. and Pluto (the Roman name for Hades) is no longer a planet and he is the God of the dead. PLEEEEEEAAASE!!! Make another season of Spartacus it is AWESOME for me and my family.

The series was a topic of discussion with my friends, We loved Spartacus! But we all agreed the series is too short and too much time between series. We are all busy professionals and who knows what other series will come along and peek our interest. I hope I don’t loose my interest come 2011. It’s seems like a long way off….

I watched the first two epasodes before they were aired and was dissapointed in how the special effects were done. It is more like a cartoon than a real life real people show. It is so easy to see that most of the work is done in fromt of a green screen and then the scenery is filled in later.
Good spcial effects such as scenery should be more realistic so it givese some believability to the show.
As a cartoon it works fairly well but not anything special.
Sorry Lusy Lawless ever had anything to do wit that series so I do hope she is paid very well for her efforts.
I watched bits and pieces of the rest of the series and it has not gotten muchbetter but hopefully the second season will show some effort in production.

This show is AWESOME. My husband and I love this show. It has everything….revenge, betrayal, lust, honor…. and the list goes on and on. The special effects are awesome. I just hope Spartacus come back for a second season. Too many times I have gotten into a series and it gets cancelled.

Can’t wait for 2nd season, loved the first. I am a fan of ancient history, epics, etc. I thought this was done wonderfully after I got over the initial shock of the nudity, and sex. It is The Roman Empire, right?

For those of us familiar with the “classic Spartacus” starring Kirk Douglas and a couple of other remakes, Blood and Sand Season 1 only tells part of the story! So, yes, we are definitely waiting for Season 2…impatiently!

I watch Three episodes the first night and the next evening I watched the rest of the episodes. When I realized that I had watched them all and could not find another on the guide, I was crushed. I am anticipating the start of season two and can’t wait for it to air.
