TV show description:
A science fiction Romeo and Juliet television series, this show revolves around the romance between a human girl and an alien boy when he and six others of his kind are integrated into a suburban high school.

When Emery Whitehill (Aimee Teegarden) was six-years-old, an alien spacecraft crash-landed in her small town. Whether they came in peace or with more sinister intentions didn’t matter — a fierce battle erupted as humans fought for control over their new rivals, an alien species called the Atrians.

In the midst of the conflict, Roman (Matt Lanter), a six-year-old Atrian boy, found his way to a shed behind Emery’s house. There, she protected him from harm, brought him food, gave him comfort – and friendship. In their brief time together, Emery and Roman forged a deep bond, but the authorities wasted no time in tracking Roman down and capturing him in a violent confrontation. Emery grew up believing that Roman had been killed that day.

Some 10 years later, the Atrians have been acclimated to life on Earth, however they’re interned in a heavily-guarded camp (the Sector) to keep them separate from humans. Now, for the first time, a group of Atrian teens will enroll in a suburban human high school, with the goal of testing the feasibility of human/alien integration. The eyes of the nation and the whole world are fixed on this historical social experiment, an endeavor fraught with suspicion and fear.

In the mayhem of the first day, Emery is amazed to learn that Roman was not killed by the authorities and is, in fact, one of the Atrian students. Their childhood bond is quickly rekindled. In a school and a society that distrusts everything about the Atrians, Emery and Roman have found each other again. However, their relationship is threatened by the small-mindedness of their respective communities and the political agendas of people in power.

While the world around them rages with anger and prejudice, their bond becomes increasingly strong and increasingly dangerous. Then, a violent encounter between Roman’s father and Emery’s father occurs in the Sector. Can Roman and Emery’s love survive? Can there be true peace between humans and Atrians?

Series Finale

Episode #13 — “Passion Lends Them Power”
After Roman is badly hurt, Emery turns to an unexpected ally for help. Meanwhile, Grayson , Drake , Sophia, and Lukas race to find the stolen Suvek before the Trags can activate it. However, Vega (guest star Merle Dandridge) is a step ahead of them and sets off the Suvek in the middle of a Marti Gras parade. Teri is shocked when she overhears Vega ordering the death of her friends. Gloria discovers Taylor’s secret and shares one of her own.
First aired: May 12, 2014.

One of the best series I have watched. It was different. I looked forward to watching it the next season and was very disappointed when I saw you had cancelled it.

It’s pretty annoying when you guys give us a new refreshing television series, that actually has an excellent plot that could go far. But because Americans only rely on “ratings” and not what the people who actually watch the show have to say, you cut the show. Perhaps if you actually promoted the show for the real story line and not just the romance more ratings would have come in. But hey what would we “the fans of the show” know right? apparently our opinions are never heard in the matter. Congrats CW you have once again destroyed a good thing. I for one was actually excited to see a war with those deadly looking warships.. I was actually looking forward to see how the Atriams, and humans save earth. But thanks allot for leaving a huge cliffhanger…. Wake up and smell the coffee america you’re economy is going down why not destroy television in the process. I mean you guys already killed the movie industry.. why not everything else too.

Excellent series but as usual, because due poor intellect by the U.S. tv channel alters, the show gets axed! Then we get to see in UK and never get a voice in the matter and get frustrated as yet another good series goes to waste!
Hello! America, wake up and smell the coffee! I’m only saying!!

I really loved this show and really don’t understand why you have to cancel all the good ones.
