Spock would never do anything with Uhura cause love is an emotion, and his mom is alive in the 3rd movie,as well as kirks father. Again in short they failed to keep the ST francise live. But on a good note it was cool to see nimoy back in his ears, I hope they got him in the second transformers movie as galvatron. The kid does say Tiberius. Get your ears checked before you decide to go on a rant about something you clearly didn't comprehend. This is an experienced Star Trek director. I'll grant that his takes haven't been very good (ST: Nemesis should be destroyed), but I think he's got a pretty good idea of what he's doing. Aside from that, I highly doubt that Paramount is going to allow a mistake like you (incorrectly) seem to think exists slip past. Everyone is fully aware of what this movie can mean for the whole franchise. Both the Enterprise TV show and Nemesis almost killed Star Trek. This is probably their last attempt at keeping it alive. They're not going to screw up on something obvious like the middle name of one of the company's most well-known characters. ...wow... Kyrila…listen a little harder…

Apparently he didn't watch enough of the original series to accomplish this mission. If he got the main character's name wrong, what else did he get wrong? You think ST fans won't notice?
