How sad that truly one of the most intelligent shows on the air in the past several years has been canceled. Why is it that the only successful shows like Smarter than a 5th Grader, Deal or No Deal or Price is Right, all glorify the stupid and greedy? Aaron Sorkin, thank you for showing that someone can still write wonderful stories and plots for TV.

I will be so sorry to see it go. I am a 15 year old girl from england and nobody of my age watches it. The storyline between Matt and Harriet is great. They show a little later over here in England than what they do over there so we’re only half way through the 2nd series. I think the show is one of the best on TV and I wish, if it did get cancelled in America, that they would make episodes just for England. Matthew Perry is by far the best actor around and I would be so sad if he wasn’t on TV. Keep it broadcast, not only for American but for the English too!!!

I am SO sad and angry. Finally an intelligent comedy/drama worth watching is on the TV and what do NBC do? Cancel it!?! What the Hell I LOVE this show and will not enjoy thursday nights again. This is the best TV show i have ever seen. Much better than Lost and Heroes!

Not since the second season of (24) have i found a show worth staying up late for. Studio 60 was it. It was the real deal. I watched it by accident but was hooked from day one. The holiday episode featuring the musicians from New Orleans blew me away. What great characters…Jorden, Matthew Perry, D.L. Hugley, and Ed Asner for God sakes! What an ensemble. C’mon NBC. Get it together.

PLEASE BRING BACK STUDIO 60. It wasn’t given a chance to build up an audience. Most people I know don’t really get into shows until the second season and then they go back and buy the boxset of the first season. It seems a pity to stop it before it had a chance to take off. It was funny, witty and thought provoking. Please reconsider.

Studio 60 is really the best show on TV–I can’t believe the networks would cancel such an incredible show. When you see all the crap that remains on the air, it really makes you wonder what they could possibly be thinking. Pleeeease bring it back!

i just wanted to say how much i will miss this series. it is definitely one of the best in memory for characters and dialogue (i can’t tell you how much i have enjoyed the dialogue). the cast, entire, are brilliant and i hate it has come to an end; i really hate it is over. thank you sincerely, mr sorkin and mr schlamme.

I waited for anticipation for Studio 60 to start the season as I had enjoyed West Wing and knew this was the work of the same team. What happened was that week by week I just had more trouble identifying with the characters–Danny and Matt are too cute and clever and seem to have a superior attitude toward others– and their budding romances or on again/off again relationships are somewhat unbelievable given the age factor differential that appears to exist. It began to seem like Sorkin was writing a fantasy version of his own life–super-intelligent writer who knows more than the rest of us. After a while the situation didn’t seem as real as it could have been, certainly not like West Wing. The recent shows were a little too sentimental and happy-ending-ish for me. Frankly, I don’t see what Jordan would see in Danny, to fall in love with him at first sight and answer this, is Matt still on drugs, now happily back together with Harriet and working on the show? Who knows, who cares, no wonder it was cancelled. We need well-written, clever television, ie House, but Studio 60 was too clever.

Studio 60 is an intelligent drama and unique series. Not a copycat as are so many of the series on TV today. NBC should definitely give it a second season and give it a chance for the audience to find it.

Studio 60 is one of the best shows out there & I hope there will be more. It is a show that depicts more realistic people without continually making men, or women for that matter, look stupid. The characters actually have values and think of something sex or drugs. The show leave you with a real good feeling. PLEASE BRING IT BACK.

Of course the ratings suffered when they take a good show and then interrupt the building of a relationship between viewers and show by sticking a stupid show that is completely uninteresting (The Black Donnellys) in the middle of the season. Even if The Black Donnellys was a good show, I was too angry that they were substituting it for Studio 60 to care about watching and in fact refused to watch under any circumstances in protest. They should allow a show to run the full season as used to be the case before making stupid decisions. It would also help if you didn’t show reruns of a show after every 3 or 4 episodes but that happens more on CBS monday nights and on ABC.

Studio 60 is the only good real show on primetime tv. There are to many reality shows and this is a breath of fresh air. NBC, you’re makink a hugh mistake if you take this show off the air.

There have been many people who have said it better than me. Studio 60 is smart and funny. The chatacters are interesting and quick. I hope you will reconsider canceling. Give it another season. Look how long it took some of your most successful NBC shows to click. It is a great cast and I LOVE Sara Paulson and Matthew Perry and their constant quandry. You have finally put a show together that deals with other sides instead of only the liberal side. It is refreshing…..

I can’t believe that Studio 60 has not been renewed for next year! There is so much garbage on TV (that continues to be renewed) – and they cancel a show with wit, intelligence and a great ensemble cast! No wonder it’s called the “boob tube”. Isn’t there anything that can be done?

Thanks for bringing back Studio 60. I heard it”s being canceled (again). What are “they” thinking? Do we really need another crime drama or reality show? I love the characters,the chemistry,the great writing, what we’ve come to anticipate and expect from Aaron Sorkin. Is someone at 30 Rock feeling threatened by the similarities? If I had to choose between the two, it wouldn’t be a contest. What can we do?

Sorkin is a great writer and his shows are very intelligent and DO NOT need to be changed with themes from Sex in the City. I think that Studio 60 is great as it is. Perhaps people nowadays are not appreciating quality television and settle for shows that don’t require much from our brains. Shows like Studio 60 are indeed very deep and entertaining and there should be more ubiquous in TV land.

Please, NBC, bring back Studio 60 for another season! Seems we’re losing a great show like this for more reality tv – How many versions of “american idol” do we really need? Studio 60 is well written, well casted and so much fun. It offers some variety. Didn’t West Wing take a bit to build a market – and didn’t that market end up being huge? Why doesn’t this show have that same potential?

NBC execs are not the brightest stars in the sky, are they? I’m sure they have another ridiculous “reality” show for us or maybe even another game show. Maybe NBC should change their name to the Law & Order Network since that is the only show they have on the air worth watching!! And it’s starting to get old!
Maybe they cancelled Studio 60 because Sorkin’s storylines were hitting too close to home.
I will miss the cast from Studio 60. They were wonderful together. I hope they all find shows soon. Maybe on another network.

I was so excitied to see Studio 60 back in the schedule. What can we do to get it back….thought they were going to stand behind the show and let the fans get settled and give it a chance. They change the schedule faster than we can become fans of the show…Slow down and let us catch up…

I understand that TV is about ratings… On the other hand Network Television pretty much dictates what people watch. Yes, there are tests groups and all… but in my opinion REALITY TV lacks WIT, CHARM, INTELLIGENTS, DEPTH and from time to time very little REALITY! Whoever was responsible for taking Studio 60 off the air back in February was… was, mentally challenged. It was a bonehead move…
Having said that, I thank you and all responsible for bringing Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip back. I had no idea until I look through my TVO menu and saw it there. I may be in the minority here but I for one need this kind of intelligent writing for television. Aaron Sorkin ROCKS!

I’m so sad to see Studio 60 go off the air. I think the show is well written and acted and very sophisticated – makes me laugh and makes me feel happy. Something about this show, I don’t know what it is, but I love it. It’s too bad majority of people do not appreciate good stories this show has offered since the show begun.It seems all cheesy stupid shows last longer – people have no patient to give any new shows a try.Hummmmm… I’m very sad about this..

I’ll be sad to see the show go. . . finally something smart and whitty that appeals to the viewers intellect and not their carnal apetite for sex sex sex SEX! and more of it. What a pity (and a very telling one at that) that viewers in our country are so addicted to thoughtless entertainment that when somethng really bright comes along it’s instantly termed . . . what? Boring? More accurately viewers are just lazy and over entertained.

I happen to think Studio 60 Sunset Strip is fabulous!! it’s one of the best shows ever put on regular TV. Put a little of Sex in the city into it, lighten up somewhat on the verbage. You write this for highly intelligent people, that’s why I like it, but it’s work to watch it, you’re not entertained, you have to really pay attention, most people don’t do that. Come one, get some writers that like women, that like womens relationships. Like the women on Sex in the City. They really care about each other, do that kind of thing, instead of people trying to cut each others throats. The christian girl is your downfall, she is boring. The 2 men, (I don’t remember their characters names) have a good friendship, they are a good start, as is the woman who is the big shot…..OK i’m getting too long winded, you guys know what that’s like. Come on, I want that show to stay on.
