I was sad with the ending of Sam going into the pit. It shouldn’t of ended that way. When the season does decide to end I want it to be a nail biting ending, with the guys coming out on top. After all they’ve been through and all the sacrifices they made they shouldn’t end up dead or in hell. Please don’t end it that way.

This for sure was the best Season. Woahhh go 2010. I felt like I was always on edge and I always look forward to seeing a new show. It has truly been an enjoyable ride and I hope that the season continues forever. There striking good looks definetly did draw me in from the beginning but I appreciate the inspiration behind each show. You have to love all of the characters because their all trying to find their way in the world and as viewers we can connect. I plan to keep this series in my future families legacy. The bond that the two brothers share is undeniable and it kept me watching. As I heard the words “season finale”, 5 minutes after the show ended, my eyes teared up because I have been religious in watching each and every episode. I hope it doesn’t end without knowing what happened to both brothers.

I believe Supernatural is but one of the few TV series that really amused me. I love the chemistry of the two leading characters plus the fantastic story lines. Few TV series gives you the urge to ask for more and Supernatural surely have all the qualities of a great TV series not never at any time been boring. I have collected the complete seasons 1 to 5 and hopefully season 6 will follow soon. Congratulations and more power to all the people, particularly the creator behind this great show.

Supernatural has been and will always be one of the awsomest shows any one of us has ever seen. However like sum1 said it’s best to leave a party while its still roaring. If the show gets any bigger than the defeat of Lucifer it’ll be obvious that they’re stretching it……..besides the original storyline is unthinkable without Jared, Jensen, and Erik Kripke.

Well, why would Supernatural have a sixth season ? I mean, the way it is heading… What Is there to do after Satan comes out and the end of the world coming ? Even if the two brothers stop that, the story has always been evolving, getting to bigger stakes and dangers so what can be bigger than end of days ?

Supernatural is my favorite TV series of all times. I really do love it. The writers are amazing. The story is great, everything that the brothers have to endure is somewhat similar to what we deal with during our lives, every aspect of the show is great (especially the actors-although I did like Katie Cassidy better for Ruby). I hvae never really liked a show this much and thinking about it ending is terrible, (but I really hae to say this) if they do want to move on, then let them. I don’t really think the show would fizzle out like others were saying, but I do think that the show wouldn’t be as good if the people involved didn’t want to do it & I agree with (comment 20)Nicole about not doing a spin off… bad idea. The Winchester brothers ARE the show.

I agreed with Eric, Supernatural is almsot going out of the line of history, it’s almost turning a boring tv serie. I love this tv serie, but we need to accept Eric’s decission, it’s better then CW kick them out, you know what i mean?
I really wanted to watch a sixth season but there’s no more history to tell in the serie, i think they can stop in the fiveth season unfortunately

I love the show and although I do not miss an episode if the actors are not wanting to go on after this season then they should end it. They are both in their prime and have so many other opportunities awaiting them. It’s not like they won’t be seen again.

I will admit I was not crazy about last season and where it went. One of the main reasons I stuck with watching the show was for Jim Beaver and felt he was under utilized. Something I hope as an older audience member Kripke remedies this season.

If Eric decided it’d be a five year arc, it should stay a five year arc. It never fails that when a new director/producer steps up to continue a show it leaves a bad taste in the mouths of the true and original fans of the show. No different than movies that get sequels years after the original just to say that there was a sequel (Lost Boys anyone?). If they’re done and the story’s closed, I say God bless (pun intended) and let it be.

I love Supernatural, but I love Jared and Jensen more. If they don’t want to do the show anymore, then I’d rather they get out than try and force it. Plus, it’s nice having a concrete ending to a series. I’m not saying there aren’t going to be unanswered questions, but with most series not knowing when they’re going to end, we often end up with series finales that are, to be frank, horseshit. With Supernatural having a final already planned, especially since the beginning, it’s guaranteed to be pretty damn good. That said, I wouldn’t mind a spin off series. I don’t think any of the characters that are on there right now (aside from Bobby, whom I absolutely adore) are quite popular enough to pull off their own version of the show, but there’s no rule against introducing another character. Hell, they could do a back story about John Winchester’s Hunting life, like with Supernatural Origins. Fill in some of the blanks of the Wee!chesters. They could recast everybody with younger actors and still have a great story line. Overall, though, if they cancel Supernatural, whatever they get to replace it in the lineup is going to have to be one hell of a show. Hopefully with hot guys and cool cars, otherwise it’s abc or cbs for me.

*cough* John died in his 54th year..and Bobby is well past thirty-something. Dont use the age of the chars as the excuse that you’re ready to move on Jared.

I would be fine with 5 years, hell we we’re even guarenteed a first full year and we were nicely surprised.

If Kripe heads off, I dont see a point in continuing Supernatural, but that doesn’t eliminate a well thought out Kripe run spin-off. Not a half assed one brother only type show. You watch Supernatural for both brothers, not just your personal favourite despite your protestations of love and devotion.

A new show, with a new premise following a potential favourite or even a whole new character in this world.

TV NEEDS dramas like this that make you want to watch because you give a damn about the characters not because theyre stylish or theyre the new “whatever”.

Dont End Supernatural at 5, its brilliant, end it at 6 or 7, Buffy the vampire slayer went up to 7 and all the seasons were brilliant [except the finale of 6] , dont end supernatural and i dont think it will end up like smallville…

Hi, I’m a big fan of supernatural since season 1, I’ve honestly never loved a show this much, but I think it deserves a good ending, answersing all our questions, why not end it with a movie (you know in order to develop the ending a bit more) ? I think the creator will end it when there’s no more story, because honestly how can you get a harder monster to fight than the devil himself ? I really don’t want this show to become unrealistic, I don’t want them to jump the shark. so I don’t know how many seasons they can last, but please, give it the ending this fantastic show deserves !

Really, I believe that as the old saying says, ‘ All good things must come to an end.’ Supernatural just happens to be one of them. In my opinion, there would be no Supernatural without Jensen and Jared. Goodness, I threw a big enough fit when Jeffrey Dean Morgan was no longer on the show. My biggest hope is that they make this final season a good one, and one with an end where the audience would want to give a standing ovation to see it off and we can be thankful it wasn’t a series, like so many others, ended in the middle of a story and way before it’s time, leaving us with too many questions. I’m glad it’s got this many fans, this much publicity, but I know that it’s about time for Jensen and Jared, and anyone else, to move on to bigger and better things. Here’s to season 5 going out with a bang and us seeing more of the boys in the years to come. Cheers!

Supernatural has been such a joy to watch with great plots throughout seasons 1 to 4, just the right amount of twists and a fabulous rapport between the actors/characters. I respect Kripke’s decision to end it after Season 5 (and for having thought about it beforehand, not like with some shows where you feel like they make it up as they go along). Rather go out on a high note than having your audience regret watching the show (like Smallville). And yes – No way without Ackles and Padalecki!

Supernatural is an amazing show, and Jared and Jensen have done a fantastic job with it. Kripke too, though I certainly don’t agree with every decision he makes or every direction he decides to take the show. That being said, I feel these last two seasons haven’t been as consistently good as the first two, and I feel if the show goes beyond five seasons (especially considering Kripke always had a plan for four or five seasons) it will suffer. And I for one would rather see it go out before it becomes just another lame TV show dragged out because it can pull in ratings than watch Jared and Jensen (who have worked their asses off for so long) spend time and energy on something not up to par. I love them and thinking about a time when I’m not watching Sam and Dean every week is painful, but when it’s time to go it’s time to go. It can’t go on forever and they seem to want to move on to other projects as well, so I think five seasons would be great.

But asking about SPN without Jared and Jensen is just the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. The whole POINT of SPN, the whole idea and reason behind it is the Winchester brothers so if they go, the show goes. Trying to introduce new characters, or even keeping on with Bobby (who is awesome) would be a disaster. No one would watch it, everyone would hate it, and I bet it would get canceled within six episodes. Be smart CW, just let it go!

I think Season Five would be a good time to end the series, I agree with Kripke and the actors Jensen and Jared (I loved that Jared pointed that he was “Tired of talking about himself”, along with dealing with all the endless Photoshoots and Press Confrences, etc and Jensen making it clear that he was tried not being able to sleep in his own bed and be wit his family/girlfriend). They’ve managed to stay fresh for five/four years, for it end while its still on top would be advantageous for them, I think. Have the series end with the brothers still hunting, or some other way the fans and the creator himself wouldn’t feel cheated.

Even though I love Supernatural, it is getting a little stale so ending it with Season 5 probably is a good idea. I will be sorry to see it go but it is better than going stale like Prison Break & 24. These 2 shows are just the same repeat issues over & over so I stopped watching them – 24 2 years ago and Prison Break last season. 24 was always about Jack Bower – me, myself & I.

I looove supernatural. its one of the best shows on tv but i definitely think it should end after 5 seasons.
thats how it was planned out from the beginning and we dont want the show to become bad. its better to quit while its still good.
besides where do you go after the apocolypse??

im glad too, that season 5 will be the end, but i would still like to see more like season 6 or so, but they cant make season six, somehow, because there is nothing else to write about, unless if the ending of season 5 ends up not a happy ending, so yeah, but, there’s one thing they could do, A Movie maybe. about Dean got married, Sam goes to school, they both found a beautiful wives or girlfriends and had children, and so the children continue the legacy.

Supernatural is the best show on television right now. And I believe Kripke is a genius! However, if he envisions the show to end next year, then I say we should respect his wishes. He gave us five good years and I’m absolutely alright with it.

I agree with Thomas London. It is better for a show to end with a big bang rather than stretch it out and allow something so wonderful to fizzle into crap. And I don’t know if this is relevant, but I think for Supernatural to end with five seasons fit perfectly. Maybe I’m a big Supernatural geek but, think about it. Five seasons? Five pointed pentagram? Fits with the Supernatural theme, don’t you think?

And who knows. If the series finale turns out to be crap, than we can always ask for a movie…? I’d be good with a movie. Imagine it now. The beautiful Winchester men on the big screen. Now that’d be awesome.

I’m a British viewer of the series and i personally would be gutted if it ended. Supernatural has had some of the funniest TV moments i’ve seen for a long time! However i feel a show only works if all those invoved in it are happy to keep it going. As much as i would hate to see it go i think that without Erik Kripke at the helm it would struggle to keep to the standard we’ve all come to expect. I’ll will miss looking at those two pretty pretty boys though……

Finally a smart producer, it’s always better to go out on top, and with a series finally, instead of limp out or get canceled in the middle of a story. I personally think 5 years is long enough for any series. I never got why a series would go on and on until they lose viewership, and then get canceled. KUDOS. go out with a bang and on top.

This is kind of disappointing since I only watch 3 shows on the CW. Supernatural, Smallville, and Reaper.

Smallville is closing in on its final season. Reaper probably won’t be back next year. Now Supernatural only has 1 season left? Unless they cook up some more plans and release their Robin/Batman series. As long as it’s the same caliber as the shows I listed above. I may have to say farewell to the CW. Gossip Girl and 90210 are just to ridiculously stupid and cheesy for me to watch 1 episode or even want to.

I’d even enjoy a Smallville spin off of Watchtower or the Justice League. So long as they can bring back the actors who played Clark and Oliver in Smallville.

i have been watching and catching every single episode since i have saw the first episode in season 1. i started having a fever on supernatural and thought the storyline might be gonna be the same length as smallville.
i hope, and i believe all supernatural fans will hope there will be a season 6, hence the actors ,Older brother Dean (Jensen Ackles) &Sam (Jared Padalecki) , they will continue acting in supernatural.
