Supernatural: Win Season One on Blu-ray!

A drama and horror series that currently airs on The CW, Supernatural has been described by critics as “unexpectedly smart and unpredictably spooky.”

The show began on September 13, 2005 and stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester. The two brothers give new meaning to the concept of “road trip” as they cross the country, continuing the “family business” of pursuing supernatural bad guys in Dean’s vintage Impala.

In season one of Supernatural, the boys face the troubling news that, after 22 years of hunting evil, their father has vanished! While following a trail of clues to find their Dad (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Sam and Dean fight demons, save the innocent, and confront the unexplained. Additionally, Sam develops some mysterious abilities and the boys learn some disturbing things about their family history.

The first season has just been re-released on Blu-ray and all 22 action-packed episodes are included on the four discs. More than five hours of special features are also included: The Devil’s Road Map (interactive U.S. map guide to urban legends and factoids featured in the episodes of season one); the Paley Festival panel discussion featuring the cast and creators; unaired/extended scenes; commentary on the pilot by series creator Eric Kripke, director David Nutter and producer Peter Johnson; commentary on “Phantom Traveler” by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles; Day in the Life of Jared and Jensen; Supernatural: Tales From the Edge of Darkness; and a gag reel.
