Bryce Dallas Howard is taking on Fifth Avenue. Deadline reports the actress has been cast in the TV mini-series adaptation of The Swans of Fifth Avenue.
Written by Melanie Benjamin, the book was published earlier this year.
The novel follows the friendship between author Truman Capote and 1950s style icon Babe Paley—the wife of CBS founder William Paley. Together, the two make their way through Manhattan’s elite society.
Brett Ratner and James Packer are producing the limited series through their company, RatPac Entertainment. Howard will also produce. An outlet hasn’t been announced as yet.
