Despite the name, swingtown tastefully explores changing attitudes in the 70′s. Love re-visiting the 70′s delivered via this fine drama. The characters are particularly intruiging…Janet’s journey has been amusing… surprised more people haven’t picked up on it. Hanging out for next series.

I loooooooved the show and am so disappointed to hear there isn’t another season to look forward to. I couldn’t get enough of it. It’s airing in Australia right now and we love it. Lady Gagga can get away anything and in this day and age it is widely accepted plus there is more to it then swinging, we need another season, pronto:) Please

This show (Or one like it) needs to come back on air – It’s 2011 now and attitudes to sex and monogamy are changing, the people need to be shown that this sort of behavior is not just acceptable, it is becoming the norm. My wife and I are just beginning to discover the joys of swinging and we encourage everyone to join in.

I thought this was an interesting show and portrayed the life style of the 70′s, my fiance and I watched it every week and were anxious to see what happened each week when it aired. We were disappointed when it was removed from the CBS network. I hope they do bring it back on another network or at a later time on CBS. I would really like to know the station and dates and times that it airs cause we would watch it.

Please produce a season 2 & 3 and 4 for that matter, what a great show and so sad that it had such a short life. My partner & I are hooked, the cast, storyline and themes are more than meet the eye. Don’t just a book (or TV servies) by it’s cover – the storyline tells of far more than the title claims.

Loved it… Great actors and writing. Shame HBO never kept it. The potential is unlimited. So many great sub plots within the show. Great cast of actors. Anyone who passed on this must have had the stupid switch on. Time to rethink.

It’s amazing that this show continues to have a following even years after it’s been canceled! Maybe now that Nip/Tuck is ending, the cable’s “powers that be” will realize how perfect Swingtown is for cable. Plus the marketing potential is great. Vintage tee sirts are very poular, and I loved the music. I’d buy the sound track if there was one!

Well, with Roger now on Cougartown I don’t know how it could happen. I wish it would, though! There’s not much out there worth watching.

Thank goodness for Netflix. I am watching repeats, well, repeatedly. The writing, the cast, the filming, the script … all top notch.

BRAVO … give us our Swingtown if you can!

please bring this show back! It had such a terrific story line, and like a few others have said on here, a really “feel good” feeling to it. It is such a shame that they dont think they can make it work, even though there seem to be plenty of followers. I think the problem is that they didnt promote it enough! I didnt even hear about the show till it was already through the season, so i rented the whole season, and watched them all and fell in love!!

I loved this show…who needs more reality shows…we need more shows like Swingtown…feel good shows…we need escape type shows…I lived through this era…believe me it was a blast! I was so disappointed when it was cancelled…please bring it back!!! I never missed an episode…don’t understand why you can’t bring it back?

I {{HEART}} Swingtown!!! The costumes and make-up…AWESOME!! The soundtrack…AMAZING!

I remember being a kid in the 70′s wondering why adults would put keys in a bowl! How silly! LOL The one night I come home from a Sat night sleepover because “Suzie” isn’t sharing her Barbies with me, and this is the “grown-up” entertainment for the evening?

PULEEEEEZ bring it back! NOW This show gave me closure!

What a fun escape back to 1976. Ah, the 70s. Sex, drugs and disco. All the actors portrayed their characters incredibly well. One of the few shows I really looked forward to and made a point not to miss if at all possible. I truly enjoyed the memories – the cars, the music, the Olympics on TV, the styles, etc. So disappointed that it was cancelled. Not surprised to see the actors on other shows now (they are all so talented) but sad that they’re not back on Swingtown. I’ve read the other comments. You had a loyal following. Too bad you let us all down.

Swingtown was outstanding!!! Not only was season one filled with an excellent story line; the cast was amazing and interesting to watch. It wasn’t the same old drama that we see everyday. I think that it is just as good as Mad Men: if not BETTER!!! Please let there be a second season. Whoever was doing the PR on the show slacked because I had never heard of it until I walked past it in a movie store. I think FX should buy it because its better than Nip Tuck and Rescue me; plus its very tasteful. Do not leave us hanging*****

Everytime i get interested in a new series they cut it !!!!
every year they start alot of new shows an only a few survive.

I have exhausted writing to CBS, Bravo, et al., to keep this show on the air. I wrote an angry email to CBS when they switched the Show from Thursdays to Friday evening (graveyard), I KNEW it would kill the show which is sad because the show was incredible, well written, BRILLIANTLY acted and had so much promise to be a 5 to 7 season success story for CBS. It is so sad for all of us, not just the original fans but those who are only just discovering the show. I wish you guys were around to support the show since day one, perhaps we wouldn’t have to be writing these sad email/notes now. BRING BACK SWINGTOWN!!!!

There is so much crap on the tube now,finally get a series that actually you look foreward to and its cancelled!So much for entertainment. CBS should take a good look at their line up,it SUCKS!!! I enjoyed this show so much. It was so different from everything else on TV. I also was addicted and my friends were beginning to watch it too. Each week seemed to pull me in and I couldn’t wait til the following Friday. I see aspects of the personalities in people I know today. It’s great. This is one show I couldn’t wait for the next season.

I absolutely loved this show and my now husband and I were faithful viewers! It was tragic when they pulled the show! All the good shows seem to get pulled and the horrible boring ones stay forever! What ever happened to “viewer ratings” determining whether a show stays or goes???
