Hey CBS I’m back still wondering if your gonna do the right thing and give us fans of Swingtown closer????? I’m starting to wonder just what kind of people you got working for you that make these crappy decisions, maybe you should wonder to, cause it’s perfectly clear there are a lot of unhappy Swingtown fans out there. Come on give us just a couple more shows or maybe one 2 hour show that ends the series, you can’t just stop right in the middle and expect us to want to watch your network. Come on Big Cheese lets get with it and do the right thing, or your gonna here from me again.

Here we go again another great show and you guys cancel. I really don’t know where you guys get your ratings from. You get us hooked ,then bam you pull the rug under us. This show needs to get put back on the air,stop canceling all of the goods shows and coming back with crappy ones. You guys needs to wake up and listen to the viewers. We want this show back on the air….. Loved it………

Ahhh Hell NO, OK CBS needs to get a frickin’ clue and put swingtown back on TV!!! They are so trippin’!!! As they can see everyone loved(s) the show and the whole 70’s thang was tight!!!! I LOVE THAT SHOW C B S PUT SWINGTOWN BACK ON TV OR ANOTHER CABLE CHANNEL. SCREW WHAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS PUT IT ON FOR EVERYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO WATCH IT. EVEN PUT IT ON HBO OR OXYGEN, LIFETIME, WGN, SOAP CHANNEL, WE, AMC, FX,TBS SOMETHANG DAMN!!! ALL I KNOW IS YA’LL BETTER PUT IT BACK ON CABLE!!!!! I like how they can have all these other show of serial killers , stalkers, murders, child peodifiles, rapists, and everything under the sun and not a swing show? I mean come on really!!!!! KEEP IT REAL C B S !!!!!

We loved this show and was really looking forward to finding out what was going to happen this season..I am tired of shows that we really like being canceled and them keeping stupid stuff or adding another Reality Show in it’s place. Bring back Swingtown!!!

I can’t believe that this show was cancelled. How can we not know what happens with Susan and Roger and Tom & Trina, who are now pregnant? RATS ! You put a show on for a year, people like and then you just cancel it. It was so nice to go back to the 70s and life so easy & trusting enough to leave your house doors unlocked. Come On… at least give us 3-4 more shows to end the story (as in Dirty Sexy Money-it has been cancelled, but they put on 4 more shows to end the story line for viewers). I bought the first season of Swingtown, what good is it…..no ending.

I can not believe they would cancel such a great show………There are too many shows on t.v. now with blowing people up, killings, rape and all others acts of violent behavior towards people and animals that are more offensive than people who swing. The swinging lifestyle isn’t my style, but the show was GREAT and very HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t you think if the NFL can allow someone such as Vick to return to football, CBS should allow a show about different lifestyles to return??????? I know animal cruelty and swinging are not even remotely the same thing, but if you don’t like what’s on the channel then turn it off. I know I WILL NEVER WATCH ANOTHER NFL GAME AS LONG AS VICK IS ALOUD TO PLAY and for those of you who are so hell bent on pushing your religious views into my home through my tv, wait until all of us whom do not want religious beliefs on tv start banning your cult like shows that can justify taking/swindling money from less fortunate just for their personal gain. We still do have freedom of choice do we not? This show was for adults about a time when there was still a sense of our freedoms of choice and experimentation. Maybe all of the uptight haters of the show were so afraid they might have liked that type of lifestyle and acted on it so they had to cancel it. CBS the reason you are at the bottom of the time slot wars is because you cancel great shows and keep that reality crap on. BAD CHOICE CBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least let us find out the rest of the story……..PLEASE.

Hey still wondering if the Big Cheese that is in charge of producing shows has thought about calling Direct TV 101 channel about at least doing one more episode I got to know what happened. It was nice to have a show that didn’t have anything to do with here and now gave me a chance to slide backward just a little and the music the cloths the hair well for and hour I could pretend I was 15 again and the only problems I had where so small and easy to fix. PLEASE find a solution for us.

I loved that show! Bummer it is not coming back. While I agree children shouldn’t watch it, I just thought maybe they should have move it to an hour later slot when children should be in bed anyway and I could DVR it.

My family loved Swingtown,never missed an episode,bought the dvd of the first season,They left the whole story up in the air,at least make a made for video movie to answer storylines questions

I grew up in the 70’s and I was really enjoying this show and my daughter In Law who is in her early 20’s was really liking it and it was neat to talk to her about the 70’s. I really wish you could find another network to pick it up you left us hanging and we aleast deserve answers to the questions. Maybe DirectTV 101?? They are pretty cool

I really love it. There are people out there are or were swingers. I know cause mine parents were and I know of few of them . So I know the feeling of this show . You all got Logo channel or HBO anything to put it back on . You took Dexter and put it on CBS gross

I’m soo sad it was cancelled. I LOVED that show. I was looking forward to seeing what was going to happen in the second season. It was a show that was exciting, and interestin. You never new what was going to happen next on the show. PLEASE PLEASE bring it back. It is not like all the other shows on T.V.. You have the same stuff for show all the time.

I agree with everyone one else all there is to watch anymore are reality shows, cop shows, and hospital shows. TV is soooooo boring these days and this was a new and exciting show so unlike the others! I am sure you won’t listen CBS but I have to say it anyway BRING BACK SWINGTOWN! This really sucks!

This is crazy! I have been waiting for the summer months for season 2 of Swingtown to show – to find out it has been cancelled? Swingtown showed the ups and downs to an “open” marriage- and with this being shown all over the talk shows it’s nice to get a taste of what could happen when you open that door. The Cast is on this show is so talented, I really felt all the emotions coming from them. I am just sick thinking of all the crap that is now on TV- and they are getting rid of Swingtown? Whoever was in charge of dropping this show should be fired. Maybe HBO or Showtime will pick them up and keep Swingtown alive!

I am so disappointed that this show is not coming back. I was reliving my teenage years watching it. It really showed what the atmosphere was like and now, as an adult, I was able to understand it from another point of view. Full circle healing.

Please bring back the show, it was the only thing on in the summer that I truly enjoyed watching. It brought back many memories of my childhood wtih the music, clothes. If people are so opposed to the nature of the show, turn the channel and watch something else. There are a lot of shows I dislike because of the contents but I change the channel and watch what I like, because I can. Some of the daytime soaps are more racier than this show and the’re on during the time children are at home!

I LOVED IT!!! I am very upset about this show being cancelled. I don’t get into many shows but this one did it for me. I would rearrange my schedule for this show. Yes, it showed the “free” lifestyle of swinging, but it was also showing the affects of swinging. you did not have to agree with this lifestyle to appreciate the humor in this show. I am 42 years old, and loved the show because it brought back memories of that time as a child (clothes, hair styles, and yes sad to say, now that I think about it my parents were probably swingers). I agree with Alisa, it was becoming so much more. How people care and treat people even if they are different. How enemies can become best of friends. Let’s keep cancelling the shows with love and compassion and keep bringing back the ones with murder and hatred and see where this world ends up. Oh never mind, we are already there.

I just searched for Swingtown, & was very disappointed to learn that it was discontinued. My husband & I looked forward to watching it every week. Thankfully, we purchased the first season on DVD, before they pull that from the shelves, too. If the prudes don’t like it, just change the channel! Please bring the show back!

I am extremely disappointed! I was looking for the sceduled time for this show this year and to my astonishment it’s been canceled. The first season really set the characters up and I was so excited to see what was in store for this season. I agree that it may not be for everyone but no show is. If you don’t like it turn it and leave those of us that do alone. We probably don’t like some of the crap you watch either. This was not a show that encouraged swinging, I myself would never do it, but it was a great show with a great cast. I really hope that another network will pick this show up and air it for us.

I was also looking foward to watching this show again this summer. I fell in love with this show and these characters. I live near Chicago, so it had an even more special place in my heart. There was alway so much going on, and the characters were all changing in so many ways that the show was becoming so much more than the “swinging,” but the prudes who objected to the show would never know that because all they ever knew was the name and what they thought they knew. As everyone else has said they SHOULD CHANGE THE CHANNEL and let those of us who want to watch the show enjoy it. I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE PICKS UP THIS SHOW!

I don’t understand why this show was cancelled. This was an excellent show and my guilty pleasure. There are so many crappy shows on TV, but yet they always cancel the good ones. I found a website that has some links to petitions to save the show. I hope that either CBS smartens up and renews the show, or another network pick it up.

why do they do keep “canceling” all the good shows for the parents, who wants to watch people blow each other up, but that is all they put on tv, for our kids and us the adults to watch, I enjoyed the relating to my past and the sex and the whole show!!! But no we have some jerk offs making decisions for the american people again!!
That’s how we keep getting into trouble!!
Now we need the Fx channel or someone to pick it up and run it! Please for everyone over the age of 18 and with a brain and a past!!!

All the girls in the office (some husbands too) LOVED this show. Before canceling any show they should get a chance to be on during rating times. Having it debut in the summer is okay but not to say the numbers were low and yank it. Put it on again and see what happens. It was a different kind of show like nothing else on like it and it would have a following if given the chance. Please try again or at the least another network. This can’t be gone forever!!!

i’m beyond disappointed. My sister and I loved this show. It was not about morals, but strictly a good story line based on adults lives in that era. I’m 45 and I see nothing wrong with this show being on tv. However, it would really be great on HBO or another channel. People who were offended by this show should have simply NOT watched it. People have CHOICES. Nobody should push their values or beliefs on others. I’m watching the Pilot episode again right now ! I hope that maybe this show will come back for another season. MAYBE if more people spoke up somehow they’d bring it back?
