The highly-anticipated prequel Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome is finally going to see the light of day — in an unusual way.
It will be released in 10 7-12 minute segments on a YouTube channel called Machinima. The first installment will be posted this Friday and the rest will be doled out over the next four weeks.
In early 2013, the two-hour movie/pilot will air on Syfy and then an unrated version will be released on DVD. It was announced in March that Blood & Chrome wouldn’t be moving forward as a TV series.
