Phyllis Diller diesA true comedy legend has died at the age of 95. Phyllis Diller passed away in her sleep earlier today at her home in Brentwood, California.

Born in 1917 in Lima, Ohio, Diller was first a housewife, mother and then a advertising copywriter. She’d studied music in her earlier years but gave it up, believing that she’d never be as good as her teachers.

In 1955, she was a mother of five children living in Northern California. It was then, at the age of 37, that she made her nightclub debut at the Purple Onion in San Francisco. She kept working there for 87 straight weeks and over the years developed a unique self-deprecating act that kept her working in stand-up for the rest of her life.

Ever wonder what happened to the actors and actresses from your favorite cancelled shows? They're keeping busy on TV shows like Heroes and According to Jim, on web-only projects and movies. Here's where you'll be able to find performers like Logan Marshall-Green (Traveler), Dylan McDermott (Big Shots), Nicki Aycox (Ed, Supernatural), Justin Baldoni (Everwood), Seth Green (Four Kings), Brekin Meyer (King of the Hill), Justin Long (Ed), Josh Charles (Six Degrees), Christina Ricci (Ally McBeal), Eric Estrada (CHiPs), Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man), Kevin Falls and James Van Der Beek (Dawson's Creek), David Denman (Angel, The Office), David Faustino (Married with Children), Corin Nemec (Stargate SG-1), Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show), Brad Garrett (Til Death), and Jonathan Lipnicki (Meego). To start off, Logan Marshall-Green (Traveler) and Dylan McDermott (Big Shots) have signed on to The Line, a Jerry Bruckheimer-produced pilot being made for TNT. It follows a group of undercover LAPD cops as they "walk the line" between doing their job and being seduced by easy money. The Line also stars Nicki Aycox (Ed, recently Supernatural). Word is that Justin Baldoni (Everwood) has landed a role in a couple of episodes of NBC's Heroes. He'll be playing a young surfer dude named Andy who works at a Southern California comic shop. Seth Green (Four Kings) and Brekin Meyer (King of the Hill) are also slated to play comic fans as well.

Two motorcycle cops travel the freeways of Los Angeles as part of the California Highway Patrol (CHiPs). Both bachelors, Jon Baker (Larry Wilcox) is strait-laced while Frank "Ponch" Poncherello (Erik Estrada) is a more macho and romantic free spirit, much to the frustration of gruff Sergeant Joseph Getraer (Robert Pine).
