With a possible writers’ strike looming around the corner, the networks are a bit more hesitant than usual to cancel their newest shows. That’s good news for the stars of current series but, what about the actors from the shows that have already been cancelled? They’re still around. Just read on.
Director Oliver Stone has once again cast Woody Harrelson (Cheers) in one of his films. Harrelson will co-star alongside Bruce Willis (Moonlighting) and Michael Pena (The Shield) in the mystery drama Pinkville. The movie tells the story of the infamous 1968 My Lai Massacre, in which hundreds of Vietnamese civilians were reportedly killed by U.S. soldiers.
Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek) has been signed to appear in several episodes of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. Jackson will play a doctor who will first appear by mid-season. (Note: Because of the writers strike, this didn’t happen. Jackson later signed on to FOX’s Fringe.)
