This is a follow-up series to the animated feature film The Emperor’s New Groove and its made-for-DVD sequel, Kronk’s New Groove.

The show follows young and immature Emperor Kuzco (J.P. Manoux). In order to return to his rightful place on the Incan throne, Kuzco needs to finish his schooling at Kuzco Academy (named after him because he funded it). His father, the former emperor, was lost at sea and the whereabouts of his mother are unknown.
