The Job TV show

The Job

Hosted by Lisa Ling, this reality show competition comes from Michael Davies (Who Wants to be A Millionaire) and Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Voice). The TV series gives candidates who've been selected from around the country a chance to win jobs at some of America's most prestigious companies. Each episode features five candidates as they participate in several rounds of elimination challenges that are observed by a panel of executives. In addition to the episode's featured company, representatives from three other companies from related industries are on hand and have the opportunity to make on-the-spot offers to one of the candidates. If someone gets an offer, they must decide if they want to accept it or remain in the running for the featured job. Jobs up for grabs include an assistant manager position with the Palm Restaurant Group (25 locations in the United States, Mexico City, and London) and an editorial assistant position with the prestigious fashion magazine, Cosmopolitan.
