As has been rumored for awhile, Jay Leno is stepping down as the host of The Tonight Show. He’ll be leaving in Spring 2014 and Jimmy Fallon will be taking over.
In addition, The Tonight Show will be moving to New York and will be executive-produced by Lorne Michaels. There’s no word yet on who will replace Fallon as the host of Late Night but it looks like Michaels will have a lock on NBC’s late night schedule — executive producing The Tonight Show, Late Night, and Saturday Night Live.
