TV show description:
Reformed warlord Xena (Lucy Lawless) goes on a quest to redeem herself for her past sins by helping those in need.

Naive Gabrielle (Renee O’Connor) joins Xena on her quest and gradually grows to become a warrior herself. Along the way, the pair meet and befriend characters like handsome Virgil (William Gregory Lee), thief Autolycus (Bruce Campbell), illusionist Eli (Tim Omundson) and wannabe-warrior Joxer (Ted Raimi).

Their adversaries include seductive Ares (Kevin Smith), power-hungry Alti (Claire Stansfield), and psychopathic Callisto (Hudson Leick).

The action series is a spin-off of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys where Xena first appeared as a villain.
