tired of them getting a great story going then leaving it’s fans hanging . they show us really how much the don’t care about their veiwers. they could at least give us a two hour special. that closes the story and get everyone off those cliffhangers the caused in ending the series. they did it her and the sarah cronicles. they will till they start listening to us the fans and viewers of t.v. series. I IS NOT FAIR TO US ANY MORE.

Of all the times I’ve been burned by cliffhanger cancelling, this was both the worst…and the best. Worst because this show is up at the top of my alltime list (next to Twin Peaks and BSG^2), and was murdered before it could reach it’s full potential…and the best because it wasn’t harsh cliffhanger that left me anxious to find out what happened to characters seconds after something goes boom…and yet, it did leave me wondering…

It was a cliffhanger that left me wondering and imagining over what happens in Promise City tomorrow…in a week…a month…100 years, etc. The shortsighted decision of money-hungry network execs has dropped a -very- interesting situation with -tons- of potential for all sorts of geopolitical paridigm shifts in the laps of fans, when they left us hanging with John Collier at the helm of a city populated by people with ’superpowers’….effectively ceceding from the US.

…Even the title of that last episode encourages creative thinking …

I have no doubt that this ‘what next’ has spawned many forum debates, fanfics, and tabletop RPG games.

…and yet, writing this has made me yearn for another season…DAMN YOU TO THE DEEPEST PITS OF HELL, USA NETWORK EXEC PIGS!!

I read that both “4400″ and “The Dead Zone” were cancelled because they were too expensive to make and the network could produce shows like “The Closer” and “Psych” much more cheaply. Although I like both of those shows, they can’t hold a candle to “4400″ and “The Dead Zone.” They were well-written and very well performed and I was very, very disappointed to learn they were being cancelled. There’s nothing on TV as good as they were.

The problem is they dont care, and as it seems never will.
Even just a one off final episode or movie would be a hell of a lot better than cutting it at the end of the session like this.
So many people asks for answers, shows how much they care.

These people just cancel the shows based on some ratings by a few people. They have canceled so many good shows, it’s not fair!

Has anyone else noticed that some very similar “4400″ plots are now taking place on “Heroes”? Lets give everyone the “formula”, lets give everyone powers. What a shame they have to borrow from “4400″ plots now, instead of using their creative thinking for original ideas.
I really miss my favorite show, “The 4400″. Guess I’ll have to settle for the books for now and hope that some sort of finale will be created at a later date either on TV or the Big Screen.

These execs have no concept of quality nor any commitment to an audience. 4400 and the Dead Zone were two of the best produced and acted shows on television. They deserved clean conclusions. I’m sorry and surprised the Sci-Fi Channel didn’t pick them up.
