Aldrich Ames is a name that comes up in my crossword puzzles frequently and I was really excited about seeing his story on t.v. as I had never really researched him or his history. The network is dumb to cancel this show and I hope eventually it will be available on Netflix so I won’t be as dumb as the network is. This was a TRUE “reality show” with class, a great cast and dialogue. I’m very disappointed.

The truth was never given a chance to succeed. ‘Real-Life’ drama unfortunately is NOT what TV viewers want to see; they sadly prefer the ridiculousness of fantasy. Also, is ‘OUR ELECTED’ national representatives also afraid to ‘face-the-truth’ of a MAJOR espionage blunder during the 20th century because this is a ‘TRUE MAJOR EVENT’ that they cannot ‘SPIN’?

The least , finish the 8 episode mini series. The Assets was sure better than some of the brainless sit-coms that are on the air!

The assets was not a perfect effort but was superior to most tv fare and i wd like to see the remainder of the series. I think abc moved too quickly to cancel it.

I would like to see the remaining episodes of The Assets. I thought the story was interesting and suspenseful, even though I remember when this occurred. It’s too bad that a quality program was canceled and replaced with Shark Tank! I think it was given much of a chance.

First decent show of the season. No guts? Why was it cancelled? If you won’t air the show, then how about an credible explanation?

OMG! Bring it back or maybe Fox or Amc will pick it up? Who’s running things at Abc? No wonder their ratings are so low. Great show , no pro!

    I ll miss it!

Our DVR was set to record 8 week mini-series The Assets.
Could not find last weeks episode, same story tonight. Went online and learned ABC cancelled series. Why? What sense does it make to not air the additional 6 weeks that have been filmed. This series is based on actual events and real people. Americans can sleep soundly at night knowing that Aldrich Ames and his kind are being watched and will be held accountable. Show the rest of the series…
