I personally loved this show! Even after only two episodes, I felt connected to the characters and drawn into the plot. It was definitely on its way to becoming one of my faveorite shows. CW needs to bring it back!!!!!! I cannot believe they cancelled it….

I heard about this on the CW and I really wanted to watch it but I guess I forgot because next thing I know, I find it on youtube and remember, “Oh hey I wanted to watch that.” CW failed to advertise this show compared to all its other shows. Every time a commercial would come on, I would see an advertisement to watch Gossip Girl or ANTM, but The Beautiful Life? no. No wonder no one watched it. No one knew it was on. I watched all the episodes of The Beautiful Life online in one night because I couldn’t stand to wait until the mornig to finish watching them.

It’s saddening to hear that the CW doesn’t promote its shows to full extent.

I was on Youtube bored and I felt like seeing what was on their “Show list”; The Beautiful Life was the first thing I saw. I started watching it and well needless to say it’s 1:03 AM and I usually go to bed at 9 or 10 PM. When I saw previews for this at the end of last summer I told myself I was going to watch it and I just simply forgot, but I wish I didn’t, it’s to bad I couldn’t have helped the rattings. Usually whatever I watch I get mostly everyone I know hooked on it too.

Really would like to see more.. =[

I acualluly liked it. It was in my top 5 that I couldn’t miss. I am mad that they took it off. I wonder if they will ever put it back on or make it better and re-air it. I really was looking forward to seeing what was going to happen next. It isn’t like it took up space. So what if it didn’t take off like the other shows they should of gave it more time. I really liked the show and had it set to record so that I wouldn’t miss it. I was disappointed when the Melrose Place Encore was recorded instead. I was hoping it was just a one week thing and that it would be back on the next week. Again, disappointment. Since I watched it the first 2 weeks and then set it to record, I thought maybe I had the wrong channel or time set so I was investigating it online and found this page today. I like most of the CW shows and am shocked that they didn’t give people more of a chance to find the show and start watching it. With so many show starting in the same time period it is easy to overlook one for a week or two. I missed a couple of other shows for the first 2 weeks, but then found them while looking for an episode of another show I had missed. I watched the previous two weeks shows online and was hooked with those 2 so I believe the ratings would have come up if the show had only been given half a chance. Also it would be better to have something new to watch instead of an encore of a show that was just on the night before especially since they had already filmed 6 shows. Since I don’t want to watch Melrose Place, I am looking to other channels for a good show to watch now in this time slot, so you have lost another viewer for this time slot.

I was really upset when there was no episode the third week…. I was thinking maybe they were taking a break for two weeks, but by this week I decided to do some investigating. It takes me a while to get hooked on shows, but this show had me from the first episode. I highly recommend CW to bring this amazing show back… I am really interested to find out what happens next.

I seriously can NOT believe this show was cancelled. I lead a busy schedule, which barely even leaves time for me to Tivo my favorite shows. I have not turned on the TV in a few weeks, and the last thing I watched was TBL. I fired up my Tivo the other day anticipating an AMAZING episode of TBL that I could watch while I had a spare hour, and much to my disdain it was not on my list of recorded shows. I was beyond upset that the CW would go as far as cancelling the series so early in the game. I’m extremely disappointed.

there just wasnt enough scanfal in the first 2 eoisodes to really get anyone hooked on it . i think it had the potential to be a good show, but it wasnt promoted well with enough juicy-ness . people watch gossip girl and desperate housewives and 90210 because there is a lot going on, everything is scandolous . and The Beautiful Life wasnt promoted like that, and the first 2 episodes were NOT that captivating with gossip and scandal .

CW really is full of idiots, the show was great !!! It’s just that you put it on the same time as alot of other really good shows. I guess ya’ll were tryna do the whole model thing on wednesday but that soo deosn’t work I mean HELLO criminal minds did start back up. You should have put it on on a monday before gossip girl that would have been a hot combo or even tuesday, nothing really comes on that night. Ya’ll really have to get smarter with the time slots especially since you have a whole bunch of new shows and your competing with other shows thats been on the air for years.

Any show paired with ANTM needs to understand who comprises their core audience (teen girls and gay men). TBL didn’t show enough man candy early on to keep th1s audience. To look at the commercials promoting the show it was all about Hollingsworth undressing…yet all we saw were bitchy people being bitchy….WHY!!!!

Ok! This show Was like the best show ever it was so interesting the first episode pulled me in and then the second made me hooked on the show ans i couldn’t wait till next Wednesday.
And then i found out that it got canceled it was very disappointing. And i was soooooooooo beyond mad.And i was so happy cause there are not that many shows that target ONLY the age group 13-19, but this show did.
So i think that the C.W. made a HUGE mistake when they canceled the show.

I looked foward to the show….I was getting ready to watch it and it didn’t come on…In my opinion Gossip Girl and TBL are the best shows on CW. Tyler Perry recieved poor ratings by critics for his first few works, but they were actually hits. If he had quit because of some ratings he wouldn’t be where he is now! maybe change the date though… because a LOT of other shows are on at the time, like glee.
i recorded the beautiful life because i thought it was a very good show, and i liked the drama. they should have DEFINITELY kept it going, instead of showing melrose place again. that probably puts the ratins down more since people have already seen it!

Hey. All of you people out there who think that taking the show off was a good idea, well you are for 1) crazy and 2) well…crazy! I mean i could understand after maybe a good solid 6 episodes and it still wasn’t getting good reviews cutting it, but 2 episodes? They didn’t really give the show time to develop and have devoted watchers. It takes more than 2 episodes for a friend to recommend a show to someone… I’m just saying. If they had given it time to really get people wondering what happens next, then they would’ve had a great hit to go along with Gossip Girl, America’s Next Top Model, and Smallville. I think they should bring it back for the next few episodes, then if there still aren’t a good amount of viewers, take it back off. You have to give the shows a chance to entrance you in the mystrey snd glamour before you go and judge it.

I dont thtink the cw should have eneded this show. There are so many new shows that air at the same time that i thik a lot of people recorded it on dvr to watch later. This isnt the first time they have cancelled shows very early on. I liked the show Im just not a fan of Misha Barton, I think they should have chose somone else. I think the role was too close to what shes really gone through. Anyway I really dont think it should have been cancelled.

I thought the show was great! Me and my friends really enjoyed it and looked forward to it coming on every week! They should have gave it a few more weeks to catch on to viewers before they cancelled the show! I’m sure all it needed was a little more advertising and the show would have been a hit! America likes shows like TBL. I loved it because I’m an aspiring model, and I thought it truly captured how the modeling life really is. I sure wish they would bring it back!!

That’s part of the problem. When you only watch a show online and not on tv, it doesn’t get the ratings. And ratings are important because advertisers aren’t going to pay for the time-slot of a show that’s not getting any views. Too those who said to save it, it’s stupid to save a show that nobody wants to watch. Obviously you all are in the minority because nobody else was watching it. Why keep a show that most people don’t want?? Good decision.

I thought that this show was getting good. I don’t have television so I wasn’t a viewer but i watched both episodes online (does the CW take into account the number of people who watch the show online only?) and I really enjoyed it.
