Awesome show. Never should have been cancelled. Shows like Better Off Ted and The Goode Family should be cancelled.

Love this show! Bought the series on itunes. NBC sucks for canceling it. USA should pick it up. It would do good on cable.

Agree – as always, NBC doesn’t give a show a chance to build an audience. It is little wonder why they’ve become the second class citizen of Network Television. Fox and ABC, HBO and Showtime are some of the few networks that stick or try to stick with a show and give the audiences some time to catch on.

Come on NBC: stop canceling all the great shows in favor of reality TV schlock and other lowbrow garbage. Let your great shows like Black Donnellys, Friday Night Lights, etc actually have a chance.

Network television really short-changed this show before it ever had a chance (shocking). Putting it at 10pm on a Monday night for 6-7 episodes is a travesty. NBC still has yet to have a show stick in that time slot.

The writing / production (Paul Haggis of Crash fame) and the acting were comparable with the top shows developed for HBO – a rarity for network TV. NBC, as always, ended one of its best shows before it had a chance in favor of reality TV and lower budget / lower IQ fare.

I was really hoping someone from Cable (HBO, TNT, DirectTV?( would pick this show back up. The first season is up there with Sopranos / the Wire / etc as one of the best shows on TV.

I agree, it was one of the best shows on tv. I just saw that they put it on dvd and am going to buy asap. I think that it should be brought back, probably to a station like TNT or TBS, USA etc… it would probably do well on basic cable.

someone has to bring this show back, and continue with it. i have yet to find someone who doesn’t like it. i bought the series on dvd when i came across it by chance. its been on loan ever since to everyone i know. and every single person is hooked and wants more. nobody can understand why on earth somebody would decide to cancel this. bring it back, even if it has to be on a different station. i could go on but that should be enough…
