The Blacklist: Season One Ratings

The Blacklist TV show ratingsNBC hadn’t had any luck filling the Mondays at 10pm timeslot until Revolution came along. Will The Blacklist be a ratings success this year? Will it see a second season or will it be cancelled after just one? Time will Tell.

The Blacklist revolves around one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives (James Spader) who offers to help the authorities if a particular rookie agent (Megan Boone) is his partner. The other castmembers in this drama include Harry Lennix, Diego Klattenhoff, Ryan Eggold, and Ilfenesh Hadera.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

12/3 update: NBC has renewed The Blacklist for a second season of 22 episodes.

Final season averages: 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 10.79 million total viewers.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like The Blacklist TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

My faith in television drama has been restored. Thank you NBC and The Blacklist. No machines and cuckoo women. Just great scripts, wonderful actors and a challenging drama.

Love The Blacklist. Would enjoy seeing it go for many more seasons. This is definitely James Spader at his best.

Love this show – if they cancel this show they are nuts! Mondays are now my Fav day of the week. Wish it was on at 9 but that’s my only complaint

I’ve loved this show since the first episode. James Spader can recite the telephone book and make it sound interesting.

The Blacklist is the most intelligent show on network television. Scandal runs a close second. The only reason to EVER cancel the show for ratings would be that America has become accustomed to “dumbed down” reality series written for brain dead zombies.

PLEASE … Don’t cancel his show, nothing else on your network is interesting.
