my two cents is,that Bonnie would have been to much competition for fatso, the brunette,Rosie, who I dont particularly like, but you can”t like and be liked by everyone.right? Bonnie was refreshing, but obviously she stepped on someone”s toes, there obviously was another agenda going on…and then the last idea, is that she probably was not shocking enough…she was kind of a 50′s or 60′s type, kind and nice, probably too nice…for Hollywierd.

No eye-popping scandals, no trashy relationships, no mutants, aliens, or freaks…just great comedy, insightful interviews, and a personality that makes you want to spend an evening with her just having “girl talk.” Bonnie Hunt is the best talk show host on the air, and I’m including Oprah, who has stooped to some pretty trashy stuff in show’s duration. Not only is Bonnie pretty, she has a wonderful brilliant mind and a wit equalled by none on the air today. I even saw her put Robin Williams at a loss for words. Who else has EVER done that.

Some cable network needs to get smart and get Bonnie back on the air. I had to miss many of her shows because of the time slot in my area, but now that I have DVR I would never miss another one, given the chance! Get smart, you TV idiots! BRING BACK BONNIE!

It’s SO SAD that bonnie Hunts’ show was cancelled. I REALLY liked her show! To heck with the “Ratings..I say BRING BACK Bonnie Hunt1 Just like Ellen – Bonnie was “THE REAL DEAL”. I miss her show. it was indeed sweet and clean. [Although she could have “ditched” the “front desk”. A more casual approach would have been more appropriate. Otherwise, the show was GREAT! I Say: BRING BACK BONNIE HUNT!

I really like her in movies, but her show… not so much. It was a failure because it was completely self-serving. All her buddies worked on the show. Her love for the crooners (Rat Pack) and all things retro. Segments with her mom and people from “the neighborhood.” Who the heck cared? The only guests she could get on were either B actors (at best) or friends. And what was up with the fire pole? Once, the actress that played Lily Rush came on and took a swing around it as if it was a stripper pole, which was really funny because it was so out of character for her TV persona. Anyway, Bonnie berated her about it and then was openly hostile to her for the rest of the interview.

I look forward to her next movie, but I can’t say I’m bummed the show is gone.

I loved The Bonnie Hunt show. Her show was always a day brightener for me. She is a geniuine good natured person. Here on the West coast, Nancy Grace took Bonnie’s spot. I would rather watch Bonnie than Nancy, any day! Let Nancy go back to CNN or whatever channel she came from and BRING BONNIE BACK!!!

The show failed because of the time it was on! Central time it was on at 1:00 – 2:00 or 2:00 – 3:00. Not enough advertising! I love Bonnie Hunts humor and I think she’s an awesome actress. The only way I knew she had a show was I was home on benefits from work and I was channel surfing. I am so tired of talk shows that have drama, drama, drama. Bonnie Hunt is a classic with good clean humor and great guests. Miss the show!!! Don’t watch any of the others.

Amazing, everyone writing on this message board after so long. Everyone did what I did, Googled “What’s Bonnie Up to These Days?” and up popped this web-site. She was great and I miss her every day. I even ordered some Crumbs cupcakes from Bloomingdales and ate them all. (they were the small ones, so I didn’t pig-out all that much) If by any stretch of the imagination she reads this, I just want her to know we wish her all the best wishes, hope her sister’s health is doing okay and that her mom is as super as ever. I’ll be looking for her and her posse at the Cubs’ opening day! Miss you!!!!!!!!!!

Really liked her show and her interview style. She was incredibly quick-witted and no-nonsense. (Read: no bs). And i liked hearing about her guests’ childhoods family backgrounds. It was refreshing. One thing that bothered me though was every once in a while I’d get the sense that she was a little ” intolerant” ( See Jane kazmarik?) interview). She could also be irritatingly holier than thou. Her whole thing seemed to be to about pushing/ reminding us of what american family values used to be or what the should be…patting people on the back for coming from families that instilled her idea of good (american)family values, or who upheld them yadayada… Anyway it got old. Seems ironic that Nate berkus, whom she clearly disliked when she interviewed him,now has his own show which has taken her slot. What is that about? Anyway Bonnie I think you should do the tonight show one day but leave the holier than thou attitude and clear distaste and intolerance of Americans from different cultures (who are part of the fabric of this country and have equally inspiring values of family and hard work etc… and might embrace American fashion more if they felt more embraced themselves as human beings.) out of your repertoire.

I was very disappointed that The Bonnie Hunt show as discontinued.
It was very good. I think that maybe there were just too many shows
for her to compete with at the time.
Now that Regis is leaving and Oprah is doing something different,
maybe Bonnie could come back. She is very talented and had a great
uplifting show. She is really funny and talks about things that we can
really relate to–a real class act! Bring her back!

Bonnie Hunt was one of the best shows on T.V.! Her humor and quick wit along with her dynamic personality far out- did any comparable show. That show was the one bright spot on daytime T.V. Pure pleasure to watch. She took your mind off of the rigors of daily life, and made it fun for a little while. I will/have missed her .

The decision reflects our culture, which would rather watch the Housewives or the Kardashians embarrass themselves than watch something of dignity and worth.

I’m in my 20 somethings and absolutely loved the Bonnie Hunt show! She was hilarious. Whenever I do get to stay home during the weekdays, I really feel like I am missing out. The Nate Berkus show is boring with a capital B.

I agree with all of the positive comments. I especially like her connections with “Walgreens” (laughed and laughed at her Halloween shopping episode) and her talks with her mom. Something very sweet and wholesome and unlike anything out there today. It was also the only talk show I watched. I don’t watch much TV as it is. If Bonnie always wanted to do a talk show like those who went before her, she achieved it. It was mostly fun and that’s why I enjoyed it.

Disappointment cannot begin to express my regret. It was the only program that I really watched day or night. Now I hardly ever turn on the box.
There are so few talented and genuine people in show biz — Bonnie is definitely one of them. I loved the way that she incorporated her mom in so many of the shows; she was a diamond-in-the-rough.

BRING BACK MY BONNIE!!!! I do not understand why they would cancel such a quality show. Nate Berkus show is awful. He is not an entertainer but Bonnie is! TV is just boring during the day without her. I would rather watch her than Ellen or Oprah. The show had great comedy and was lots of fun to watch. I’m so disappointed that they took Bonnie’s show off the air. It truly was a breath of fresh air. Nice, clean fun! I think she is a riot. I also loved the nostalgic feel of the show. It harkened back to an earlier time of daytime TV a la the Linkletter show. Never had to worry about being offended. I guess it’s just not trendy enough for the 20-somethings. But are they really watching TV at this time of day anyway? I will miss having lunch with my girlfriend, Bonnie, every afternoon. There is nothing else on at that time that interests me. Bring Bonnie back!!!!

The Bonnie Hunt show is a real gem. Unfortunately, the Nate Berkus show is a real drag! The good energy and vibrant personality that Bonnie Hunt brought to television for an hour every day is badly missed. I can’t see how the Nate Berkus show can stay on the air for more thatn a few months. The ratings, eventually, have to be really poor. He’s a great decorator but a talk show host, he is not. I guess Bonnie Hunt, as the expression goes, was “casting pearls at the swine” at NBC. They obviously didn’t recognize the jewel when they had it. Come on, now….that time period is just too lame right now without her!

I really was disappointed that Bonnie Hunt Show was cancelled.
For myself this was the ONLY Daytime entertainment show that I watched.
Always great guest visitors, Bonnie was so funny and her crew went along with all the fun.
I was really sad to see her show go, and don’t understand how it was cancelled considering what other shows were offered at that time slot.
Here in Red Bluff the Judge Joe Brown show was extended another hour to fill in the time slot.
The other similar shows on at that time with female hosts just don’t appeal to me and from what I here from these posts and people I talk to it’s a sad and disappointing, and boring “bill of fair” for daytime television.

I am a gardener and in the warm weather do not watch daytime TV, but in the winter I never turned the TV on till time for The Bonnie Hunt show, and the View. Probably many women are also working outside the home so that makes it difficult for them to watch, hard for me to believe that other shows on at the same time have better ratings.

I now turn off the TV when the guy comes on that is in her time spot. I watched him a couple times but he just doesn’t have it for me. Now, I clean instead of having a cup of coffee with Bonnie and her wonderful staff. I do hope you all come back.

We watch Bonny every day,thought it was the best and funniest daytime show.We liked her comedy style ,the guests were always great.She was always down to earth with no phony comments to try to impress people.Her mother was always a great addition with her comical comments.We are saddened by her cancellation and the show “Nate” will never come close to replacing “The Bonny Hunt” show. I can’t believe the show is canceled. I’m shocked! Bonnie was so funny and very enjoyable to watch. She seems so down to earth and real caring person. What a shame. I was looking forward to watch her and I put on the tv and then I shut it off because she’s not on anymore. I’m so disappointed. I will miss her in the morning. She made me laugh when I didn’t feel well. She was something special.

Bonnie was fabulous. But then again most fabulous things don’t get credit!
Her talk show was the only talk show I actually taped because I didn’t want to miss it!

It was something on TV that was funny, real, human, sweet, kind, compassionate, loving, great for families….

well…all the words I’m using usually are not part of the Television Language these days.

Thank goodness TV doesn’t make or break Bonnie. She will be the same amazing person we saw on TV somewhere else!

I am so very dissappointed that The Bonnie Hunt Show has been cancelled……..It was a joy to watch.. the guest were very interesting and Bonnie is so very entertaining… Compared to Barbara Walter’s The View, that airs also on ABC, and that I did enjoy once upon a time, but now it is horrible……….Too much political garbage and most of it coming from the hosts , if that is what they are called. We can hear and see the political news 24/7 on the main stream media. And when these women do have a guest that is someone you would want to see and hear, give it up, as they interrupt and argue so much . Just simply a horrible talk show. I love Barbara Walter’s and have great respect for her, but would never have thought she would be a part of this show, or that she would allow political views that I feel is inappropriate from the women that host the show….The Bonnie Hunt Show was very refreshing and a change from the gloom of the political scene. ABC should keep that for nightly news…am wondering if The Bonnie Hunt Show was too down to earth and enjoyable for these times….is a shame and one of the reasons our country is where it is…yes!!! we need more “wholesome entertainment”. ABC, NBC, CBS, are not helping with that…sad.

Bring back Bonnie!!!! I hardly watch T.V., but i recorded your show. I loved it! It wasn’t you Bonnie it was the time slot, if they were smart they’d put you on later and then ratings would go threw the roof…. Hope to see you on something else soon:). (your mom and Don too)!

I’ve been looking for her new shows this past week – I hadn’t heard that she was cancelled and I’m sad. I really enjoyed her, her Mom, her staff……
Her show was low-key, wholesome and funny.
It looks like you have to give away cars and big money to stay on daytime TV.

I have been lucky enough to have a tv in my office butnot always able to watch the show. I can barely get my morning started anymore without her charming self and staff and of course, Mom. Dinah’s comment above is SO true- and America wonder’s what wrong with our kids?! Ther’s just no good old fashioned humor and have you watched her smile at a child? Love just pours from her smile and eyes. Get a life people and come back to what we need- maybe, NBC needed to program it closer to lunch time when everyone is sitting down for a sandwich!!!You can turn off the cartoons for the kids!

I did’nt even know that she had a show until this summer when I was laid off from work and was home in the morning. I started to look forward to seeing her every morning. I really enjoyed the feel good moments and seeing her mom with her joke of the day! What is happening in this world when a show like Bonnie Hunt is replaced with a show like Maury? (channel 43, Knoxville, TN) We are slowly turning real decent shows away from the viewing audience and replacing them with reality shows of all kinds. Don’t we get enough reality in our everyday life already! Watching Bonnie and everyone on her show was like a breath of fresh air. We need more wholesome entertainment like Bonnie, Rachel Ray and yes I love Ellen!

I’m saddened that I will not be able to enjoy Bonnie on a daily basis. What a refreshing show where the staff all interacted with a family atmosphere. I cannot believe some of the shows that continue to be on the airwaves in place of Bonnie’s show. We MISS you, Bonnie!

Typically, the Bonnie Hunt show has been cancelled. Keeping with the trend toward the demise of intelligence in this country, Bonnie and her staff are another statistic added to the list of decent, intelligent, entertaining TV personalities who disappear due to the clowns in charge of programming. Instead, we are inundated with shows i.e. Jersey Shore, Kate Plus Eight, Girls Gone Bad, etc. Heaven forbid we should view a show of substance with interesting staff and interviewees. Perhaps, the clowns needed more air-time for more commercials… God knows, we need more of them. The loss of the only show worth watching confirms my belief that crap is king. My suggestion? Turn it off. Read B Magazine.

I agree with all…..I loved Bonnie’s show, her guests, her mom and the staff. I can not understand why the show didnt make it, perhaps the time slot? It came on at 3PM here and I watched it daily….

I LOVE Bonnie!! Love her sitcoms and movies….and Really love her talk show….. Why is that the ones I love get cancelled. Meanwhile, all the bogus reality shows remain on the air!!!!! Thats probably what the networks want…. Reality garbage!!! Bonnie was a breath of fresh air. So is/her precious mother!!! Both will be sorely missed.

Duh, I just discovered the Bonnie Hunt show was canceled. I am so dissapointed, I LOVED that show. Her interaction with her crew was great. I laughed through every show, and I don’t think I missed too many. Please consider her bringing her back. There’s nothing good at the time slot (2:00 pm) either. PLEASE!!!!!!!

I’m so sad that The Bonny Hunt Show has been cancelled:(.. I loved her show because her and her mom are such good and wholesome people!! I loved the feel good moment at the end of the show..maybe the show was too wholesome for people that are rapidly turning more and more disgusting.. It was also cute when Bonny kinda flirted with her guests! Bonny..sex it up a bit, lose a couple more lbs and act like a Lindsay Lohan for a day! Hook a guy and get some action! Lol! Love, tish:)

I was watching the Bonnie Hunt Show at 4P>M> in the East, but , miss , and, they have put Dr. Phil on for 2 hr. Don’t care for that program at all. When is Bonnie coming back?

Its sad that Oprah is still on , but they cancel Bonnie Hunt. Bonnie’s show was just a breath of fresh air, alot of humor. I guess you have to be a trashy show to stay on air. Not saying that about Oprah mind you, but she just makes me sick. I choose not to watch her at all, and as for the ELLEN show, I think she should have been taken off air and never allowed to be on again. She looks so stupid dancing like a dying chicken on her show. Uggh. I am so disgusted that we have come to just be entertained by reality shows. I personally don’t care how other ppl live their messed up lives. I just want to watch good t.v. Bring Bonnie back, take Oprah , Maury off. I have had enough of her, and I am tired of Maury and whos the babies daddy everyday on his show.
