It makes sense that this was cancelled.

After all, every title can’t be as worthwhile as Parking Wars or that awesome show about people that collect too much junk.

It’s hard to believe that I haven’t watched anything on A&E since The Cleaner’s finale; they really have a ton of quality programming.

They must have an award-winning reality series about plunging toilets or picking up dog feces that we can all be blissfully entertained by.

**** you, A&E. I hope some mailroom ******* goes nuts and starts shooting executives. Barring that, may they die in horrendously messy car accidents.

Thw Cleaner is anextraordinary show. I cannot believe it has been canceled!! Please!!! Someone should really reconsider. It not only teaches people about hope and life, it is also shows the profound love that keeps families together. Bring the Cleaner back!!

I really wish they would bring The Cleaner back!!! I think it was an excellent show with an outstanding cast!! It has been off the air for I don’t know how long now and I still perform a search for it at least once a month hoping it will appear in my guide. Alas, I have yet to see it there. If A&E does not want it, perhaps some other network will pick it up!??

My comment is more food for thought for a&e I’m a recovering addict.There is no words to describe how much the realism touched my heart a&e has chose the ratings as a reason to cancell a show that meant so much to us that meet in the rooms a&e please give the show another chance GOD has given me one!!!!!

Almost 2 years later, and I am still devestated that this show was gone. My husband and I were thrilled when we saw previews for it on A&E. My husband is a recovering addict of 5 years, and wow we loved watching this together. All people need to see another side of addiction. See the side where people really want help, how powerful addiction can be, and what people in recovery can do for other people. This show was amazing, and I was so sad to see it not renewed. In fact I didn’t even know it was cancelled, until I waited a long, long time for season 3…. and it never came….and I looked it up…and it was gone. SAD.

I am extremely upset about the cancellation it was the only t.v show I have ever religiously watched every single week, I never missed a single episode. I still keep checking on my tv hoping maybe they will bring it back. A&E sucks!!!!!!!

to boost the ratings all u had to do was get rid of the lady that was acting as his wife she just wasn’t right, not a match for Benjamin Pratt. Her character irritated me as well, she was selfish couldn’t just accept that he loved helping people. And that must always come first when you serve God she was not supportive at all. Just couldn’t be happy that he was clean and wanted to do something else other than drugs.

The Cleaner was riveting! It encompassed the peaks and valleys of emotions and experiences that people have in this journey we call life. Benjamin Bratt was extraordinary!! The cast was superb. The writing was unbelievable. So the only problem i can see is that such a wonderful show got stuck with a sorry network.

I am really sad The Cleaner was cancelled. It was a very “in your face” show about the effects of drug use. Thought it was very well written and acted. Loved all the actors involved. Saw Grace Park on Hawaii Five-O and realized, uh-oh, no more Cleaner. Would love to see it brought back.

So frustrated to see this show cancelled! I found this show to be so real regarding addiction & recovery, which is so close to my heart. There’s so much meaningless garbage on TV these days & now we’ve lost another show that depicts both the sadness & hope of addiction. I am nearly angered! I would rather spend an hour watching “The Cleaner” than “19 & Counting” any day. Bring it back!

I only recently discovered The Cleaner, stumbling over it by chance. It can be uncomfortable to watch because it’s so real. Yet that is why it is so good. Benjamin Bratt plays perfect in the role and in Season 2 the other characters develop and we start to see them not as mere support roles but as real people. Maybe it’s too dark for some – a bit of humour wouldn’t hurt now and then – but I think it’s refreshing to see real stories of the dark and difficult side of human life pertrayed on the adbox in such an authentic way.

I for one will be sad if The Cleaner doesn’t find a way back somehow, but I think everyone involved in making it can take pride that they did a great job and created an important piece of drama, and told stories about an all to common experience in our society – and one which touches more and more of us in some way.

Maybe it’s simply that this great show got cancelled because the stories were too close to the truth, too raw for the TV and advertising execs who get to decide what meaningless crap gets to be broadcast in between te commercials that feed our other addictions.

The world needs more people like William Banks and his team – and TV-land needs to grow balls enough to stick with shows like The Cleaner.

I as well loved this show and was looking to see when the next season was to start – I thought it had been off too long – to my extreme disappointment – cancelled. Not even a proper send off as mentioned already…..This show was REAL and the charactors brought you into the story couldn’t wait for next episode. It is sad that a show with real heart touching stories and facts of life is cancelled – but yet the Kardashian’s go to NY remains??!! Too bad – The Cleaner will be missed in my house….

This is a great show. I work in a juvnile treatment center and I start to show this program to the kids and they love it. The kids keep asking me if there going to be a third season it hurt to tell them that they cancel this show after season two. It had help some of the kids open up.I hope that A & E would reconsider and do another season of this great show…..

the cleaner should have stayed on air because of its realness. since it was based on a true story, that made it all the more interesting. who cares how many viewers it gets. there are other shows A&E can come up with to gain the money that they “think” they are losing. as the show being more realistic, i assume it is harder for people to accept that harsh reality of things that are happening to real people. the truth isn’t pretty all the time.

I am extremely disappointed yet again. First it was the Unit (out of nowhere), then the forgotten, and now the Cleaner. I love dramas and there are very few that are catching my eye. The Cleaner should have stayed on out of principle. Although it was edgy it definitely drew the audience in with the ever growing social problem of drug addiction. I am sad to see this show go!

So…another good TV series goes down in flames due to the fact that a few brainless network execs want to make more money feeding the public crap by airing mind numbing stupidity. The Cleaner was a damn good show that illistrated there are good stories out there to put on TV. The fact that this series was based on a real person and his life was extremely refreshing. Looks like it’s back to the Beavis and Butthead days…I wonder if they’re the network execs????

I will miss The Cleaner. There is so much junk on the telly, and it’s quite sad that a high quality rarity like The Cleaner has been cancelled. A sign of the times. Most of the networks are into one objective, and one objective only: making a big profit. Thus, trashy programming is on the increase, and the public’s diet for quality diminishing.

Benjamin Bratt had really latched on to developing this character and using it to show that not all of the people we call “heroes” have it easy. I held out such hope for TV scheduling for the new season…..until now. A&E in my opinion you have made a huge mistake. Now I suppose you will follow suit with the rest of the low-rate shows on the other channels. How many crime dramas and reality shows can a person stomach.

In a era where there are no Heros coming out of Hollywood, it’s too bad that you had to cancel The Cleaner. I can’t remember the stupid show of the guy who was dying and was making crystal meth, but you kept that show. No Guts No glory. The Cleaner was one of the best shows EVER!!!!! There are people going through all that this show stood for !!!! I believe it changed my attitude in dealing with my daughters drug addiction!
