Just writing in to say that I still miss the Cleaner, a couple of years later. It was one of the best, most intense shows on tv. William reminded me so much of my uncle, before he was murdered by his father-in-law. It felt like I lost him all over again. Man…did you miss the mark in my book.

To Whom It May Concern,

Please know how much the cleaner helped many suffering addicts. Also it educated youngsters and myself NOT to play around with hard drugs. Also, it showed society that ANYONE could suffer from the vast effects of addiction.

I really have missed this show and I can’t believed you canceled this yet they continue to have “JUNK” tv shows like the NJ Shore. I can’t believe some of the crap that continues to stay on the air? Regardless please re-consider another episode of “The Cleaner”! I sure miss my weekly show

I am like the rest of the people on here, I never watch A&E excepted when I saw an advertisement for the Cleaner I loved it from the first time I saw it, I am so sad it is cancelled. It had some very heart wrenching and heart warming stories, and even better it included a touch of God in it. I miss this show I cannot believe it was cancelled, shame on you A&E. By the way I had not watched your station before the cleaner and I don’t watch it now, too much filth.

Truly the BS that is on A&E like you said before hoarders, Family Jewels, Dog the whatever and some of that other sh#! is just seriously bogus
The Cleaner was so damn good I got ppl hooked on it and they all called me like it was my fault when they cancelled it they blamed me for getting them hooked and then they cancel one of the best shows ever not only that BENJAMIN BRAT IS FFFFFIIIINNNEEEE!!!

As a former drug counselor, most of the drug drama on tv was boring, too clean or just plain wrong. When I watched the Cleaner, it was gut wrenching and real. I would have ex-clients watch it. What’s wrong with you A&E? The CLeaner was better than any reality #^&^$ that is on tv. GET SOME BRAINS or have your past drug usage addled your brains?

I was just checking to see when the show should be starting again. I am shocked to see it was cancelled. I do not understand. This show was excellent. I think A&E is making a big mistake.

I have been waiting and waiting for this show to come back only to find out tonight that it was CANCELLED???? Just awful… the acting was fantastic and the stories always touched my heart…. A&E you made a terrible terrible mistake cancelling this show.

Are the exec’s NUTS? The Cleaner was gritty and that’s what made it so popular, realistic, and optimistic. Like America’s Most Wanted it should be revived, GO FOX! So sad to see a show that caused me to stay up late and tune in put out to pasture, it is a mistake of the nnnnth degree.

The Cleaner was A GREAT SHOW. More people needed to see what can happen when drugs are chosen. You did the wrong thing cancelling this show. Too many people are dying due to drug abuse. Check the stats.

I can’t believe they have cancelled “The Cleaner”! Rediculous!!! Great show and great actor! Unbelievable or maybe I should say believable! A & E had a hit and it was hard hitting and enjoyed every episode…only reason I tuned into that channel…oh, another good show bites the dust. What is going on????

A&E, we are not impressed with this decision. This is certainly a grave mistake on your part and if this is about the $ and ratings, we find it impossible your network is not making money for an A-1 rated drama. A&E D’s & O’s/Management needs to rethink this and bring it back.

I thin that the Cleaner was the best show on tv Benjamen Bratt along with all of the other cast was very good and believable. It was an important show for A&E whether they realize it or not. I have watched every show since day one and it is one the shows that I have ever seen & when I found out that the show was cancelled I was so disappointed with a & e exec’s you idiots have know idea how many viewers that you just lot, you also just lot a lot of money and your ratings are going to keep falling what a smart move……

I have an idea, send me a list of all of these petitions I have signed. Let the
folks who want good family TV shows come together. I’m sure none of us are
rich but if we band together and could get enough money for our own cable
channel. Let’s call it “THE CANCELLED GOOD SHOWS CHANNEL.” You so called exec’s need to get real. This show was against drugs, for family and it
had a leading man with a back bone who was not ashamed of showing love and affection for those around him. Come down from your high rise offices and take a look around… Of course, you can afford rehab for your loved ones.
You are part of the problem. You could be part of the solution… Does anyone in the television industry have any values and/or integrity anymore? I’m guessing the answer is. “NO.”
