It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Finder TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

I agree that it’s good, but could be much better. The writers need to take it up a few notches. It’s like having the tools to build a house, but only using them to make a playhouse. The best reason I have at the moment to keep watching is that Peta Wilson is set to guest-star in ep 9, airing March 8.

The Finder is a horribly stupid show and I hope it DOES get canceled.

The Finder ridiculous yet very fun and entertaining. Its one of the few shows on broadcast with little aspirations that does it’s concepts justice. Works better as procedural than all the out dated CSI, Law/Order and other bland procedurals ever did. It’s like a really well done USA network show that almost half as good as USA best show Burn Notice.

I sure hope The Finder doesn’t get canceled! I really like it a lot and I think it’s about time Geoff Stults catches a break.

I didn’t catch the first episode when it appeared on tv. I watched it on Fox on demand and instantly got hooked on the show. I watch it every thursday at 9pm now,and after only 3 episodes . It is really good. And it doesn’t follow the lawyer, doctor and cop shows they try to force down your thoart. I mean it has an FBI agent but shes just asecondary character.. you don’t find toomany cool idea like this anymore on tv. And it jumped in ratings follow “SHUDDERS” American Idol.. maybe if Idol can get people watching this show ..just maybe Idol isn’t bad. of course I never watch Idol.

this is the problem i have with the tv rating system..first off they never give the shows half a chance before they start talking about canceling them…i mean really why even start wacthing a show when the last like 5 shows i got into they canceled either in the middle of the season or at the end of the first…second they need a new way to take in the people who wacth online or on their dvrs….i have 2 small children so i never get to wacth the show live so i guess i don’t count in the ratings

It’s not a great show, but it is a good show. I very much enjoy it. I wish they wouldn’t have done away with the british woman that was helping the duo when “The Finder’ originally appeared on Bones. They replaced her with annoying juvenille deliquent on the new show, which makes no sense to me. Her character is completely pointless. I’m with the majority here on not canceling though. It’s definetly a good show.

Every year there is less and less on T.V. worth watching. We need more good shows like The Finder on T.V. I personally believe cancelling it would be a huge mistake. Once Bones returns they should be aired back to back.

Please don’t cancel ‘The Finder’. It is a great show and very entertaining. We need good fiction shows as there aren’t many good ones left. Please give it a GOOD chance.
