If you need proof that The Firm is doomed to be cancelled by NBC, you just have to look at the show’s ratings. Not only did the new legal series bomb on Thursday nights but it’s currently being trounced on Saturday nights as well — airing opposite CSI: New York repeats, 20/20, and FOX’s forgotten Q’Viva! The Chosen reality series.
The ratings for The Firm have been so poor that one had to start wondering if NBC might bump the series off the Saturday schedule as well. Well, that’s what they’re doing — at least for one week.
This week’s episode of The Firm has been replaced by a rerun of the 90-minute premiere of Fashion Star (which debuts tonight). That will be followed by an encore of the first episode of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, which first aired in January. Rockers returns to the NBC schedule on April 4th.
On March 24th, NBC has slotted an episode of the USA Network series Fairly Legal at 8pm, a slot that had been filled by reruns of Smash. The network hasn’t announced which episode of Fairly Legal will air but the season two opener (which will run this Friday on USA) seems likely.
The network is shaking up their Saturday night schedule and if they can come up with better numbers than what The Firm has been getting, the legal drama could easily be off the schedule for good. NBC has aired just 10 of the show’s 22 episodes thus far.

I am really mad tonight to miss The Firm tonight and disgusted with the junk replacing it. Why cancel when it’s at a very exciting point? Networks are too interested in polls these days. Saturday is a dull tv night- please bring it back! And let me know if you move it to another night and time,please. Thank you. Kay timmis
I liked it very much. Very adult and interesting. I hate to think it will be cancelled.
The Firm is my favorite show of all time. We plan our Saturday around it!! I hope they do not cancell it. Betty White show stinks! I am not intrested in theVoice at all. I am tire of these reality Shows!!!!!!They are dumb! I have better things to do with my life than to watch reality shows. We finally get a show that is actually worth watching and you want to cancell it.

We were anxiously waiting for this evening’s episode and couldn’t understand why we couldn’t find it listed. I am not much of a TV watcher but that was one show I looked forward to. Just when we finally figured out what evening we could view it consistently then the network decides to cancel it……really disappointing!!!!!

We could not wait until tonight to see The Firm. How could you put a stupid reality show in the place of an excellent television thriller? Josh is excellent along with the entire cast.
Would you please advise those of us who are followers of The Firm what we can do to see the last few episodes.???? I am totally disgusted with television and especially NBC.
I often wonder how you rate television programs. What has happened to the intelligence quotient of the television population???I guess our future will rest with ETV.

The Firm is one of the only tv shows that I look forward to. Fabulous acting, interesting characters, intelligent plot, suspenseful, and leaves you wanting more. It is a shame that well-done tv shows might be canceled when reality shows are so popular.
I’ve really been enjoying this show thus far and it would be a shame to cancel it now. I’ve been altering my plans on Saturdays to make sure I catch the show. Josh Lucas has been great in this show. Please continue the series.
