I loved the show and the entire ensemble cast. The storyline was based on true happenings. It was told from a unique point of view, using the victims to tell their own stories. I would love to see it return.

you tv networks are on air 24/7 now & they’re are more & tv shows only produce so many sitcoms. So why can’t networks have all shows on & not so many reruns. Like right now CSI,Criminal Minds, CSI:MIAMI all of these shows are reruns. Play shows that we all want to see – not reality tv!!!!!!!!!!

This is a very touching show and in my opinion, the best role Christian Slater has ever played in. I absolutely love this show & will be greatly saddened if it does not return. Why are all the good shows canceled…so the network can put more “reality” garbage on? I hope ABC will re-consider!

I don`t watch a lot of series mostly educational shows, but when my wife had me watch this with her I thought it was interesting and kept you curious throughout the entire show. I don`t understand why the networks have to keep canceling good series after a short run. Why not try another time slot or a different day, why alway throw in the towel and let down the viewers that are always there.

This show is one of the best shows that I have seen on T.V. for a long time, everytime they get a good series some buracrat decides the rartings aren`t high enough. Why don`t you care about the faithful followers that never miss a show. If the network would put more time into developing good shows like this and try to keep them on the air instead of all of the stupid reality crap ratings would be a lot better. It`s not the show thats having trouble maybe it`s the time slot, why not try another time slot and watch the ratings go even higher. I think that the millions taht watched should be enough to prove their worth. So again why don`t you care about the faithful viewers and put this series back on the schedule.

I love the show. It’s one of the show’s that my dad watches every night that he takes over the TV that I actually like. It’s inspiring to watch the show and makes me want to be more aware of my surroundings and to pay more attention to the missings signs. I’m sure people often overlook them in walmart and other places but I heard a story somwhere about how a waitress helped police return a little girl who was kidnapped to her parents because she had seen the sign in the restaraunt where she worked, recognized her and acted on instinct. Are there actual groups out there that do this for real? If so they more then likely are some pretty awesome people like the characters on the show. I mean who would ever imagine that an electrician, ex cop, artist and several other nine to fivers would get together for such a humanitarian purpose. If there are real people out there that do this maybe they should do a documentary on one extrodinary group of consultants and that might boost up ratings. This docuymentary could also inform people as to how they can be more aware, and or be helpfull in other way’s in the effort to find and identify missing adults and children. I’ll tell you one thing i like the concept of this show better then the concept of the show about the body gaurd.

Makes me wonder where they’re getting their ratings from or if they’d made up their mind a while back before even giving the show a chance to cancel it anyway. There’s so little good to watch these days. The Forgotten was a show I couldn’t wait to see every week. Wonder if there’s any way to change their minds about canceling it.

why do all the original ideas get cancelled in favor of tiresome reality shows and repeated ideas (ie., Law & Order after Law & Order)? Give the viewers a chance to become invested in the program. Seinfeld wasn’t a hit it’s first season either. This is a really good show.

I absolutely love this show….if it gets cancelled i might have to wite my first hatemail…it’s a cop dama thats not a cop dama it’s diffeent and original and has a great cast and an amazing unique twist with the forgotten network itself in that they’re voluntees. they’re not doing it to get paid, they’e doing it because they want to help people and they do. Not to mention the way the victim is the narrator is just unbelievable. it’s gut-wrenching listening to this peson who died and they had a life and they just wanted to fix a relationsuhip or find his daughter and look at them now. It’s a whole different way of looking at a crime and maybe give people in this day and age a real sense of what it’s like to go through these crimes and how cruel it really is to harm someone. Also, the cases they undergo are also different in that they are never cliche in any way, but instead resemble real life situations that happen all the time and aren’t shared on CNN. These everyday crimes killing everyday people ending they’re lives for they’re own selfish reasons. It’s ridiculous how people can just kill someone else so easily, and this show actually portrays that instead of some hyped up, impossible hollywood crime case. I also love the fact that ordinary people who agree to help and aren’t forced to by a subpeona showing people that hey if people help out maybe some of these killers could actually be taken of the streets. Also, it shows how cops screw everyone’s life up when they admit to things that help investigations but have nothing to do with them and that investigation should be kept private unless they are actually committing the crime and can’t get arrested or ruin their family and careers if they help solve this crime. Most cases aren’t ever solved BECAUSE it’s cops investing and they’ll aest someone fo doing something when it has nothing to do with the case fo admitting to it so that they can help find the murderer. This show shows some of the flaws with ou police department and tries to help out and it might actually help out the way real people and cops do investigations so we can acuatally solve some of these missing people cases and murders and what not. I just really like this show lol.

I love Christian Slater and think the network is lucky to get him. I loved his previous series also. I think the forgotten is new and fresh and timely. I would much rather watch that then some of these moronic comedies or reality shows. Keep the forgotten cancel Leno.

i love this show! Its a defo keep! Its very interesting. The only improvement I would make is I would’ve liked more drama with the actors like a romance maybe? And also the little flashbacks from the victims could be a bit clearer than i would be more intrested.

I wasn’t so sure I liked it that much after the first show, even though I love Christian Slater, but I persisted and now have watched them all and I really do like it after all.

So often I invest in a show and then they pull it and I hate that, but I’m sticking with this one until the end and it’s all because of Christian Slater. There is just something about him. I hope it hangs in there.

I really liked My Own Worst Enemy, though, and that was pulled. I like the different shows, though, and they often get pulled. Like Moonlight, I loved that show and it didn’t make it, and Jericho left a little too soon. I’m so tired of the typical crime shows like the CSIs, L and O, Cold Case etc. The Forgotten is kind of like Cold Case, and yet so different.

I love this show! It’s a different take on your typical cop drama and having CS as the lead doesn’t hurt either! ABC should give this one a chance to gain an audience, like at least a second season! Too many shows these days are cut before they find their audience, when it used to be networks kept things around a couple of years, then the show took off. Look at M.A.S.H! (I know, that was a long time ago, but the theory is the same!)

I really enjoy this show. I tuned in for my Christian Slater fix, an obsession I’ve carried for way too many years, but find I really like the show. I like the dynamic between the characters, the mysteries each week, and the potential for really good material with the back story of Alex’s missing daughter and the tension with his ex-wife. I really hope ABC starts promoting this show and gives it a chance. I have never seen a commercial for it, and I watch ABC shows pretty regularly, so that tells you something! They could catch a lot more of that “key demographic” if they flashed some Slater during the shows that do well.

Christian Slater’s one of my most favorite Actors! Too bad things aren’t going better for The Forgotten. I think Slater brought the Fans in but too many shows of this sort out there already for the viewers. I’d rather see The Slates in a sitcom when it comes to T.V (he could totally pull off a comedic role, he’s such a sweet thing) and hopefully we’ll see him on the Big Screen again soon, being the Bad-Ass He is!

This show is great! i’ve been watching it since the beginning. One of the issues is, ABC is not promoting the show at all. You dont see any commercials, ads or anything for the show. I don’t understand why more people don’t mention the fact of Christian Slater himself being the show! Hes one of my all time top five favorite actors, under rated and under appreciated.I have been watching his movies from day one.From Gleaming the Cube,Untamed Heart,Kuffs,Pump Up the Volume and much much more.I always loved his acting and how he carries himself. He has an air about him that is great to watch. I felt sorry for him when he had his last show cancelled. I understand that ratings are ratings and its a business. But in my opinion too many good shows are being cancelled to fast.the ratings rules are getting more and more ridiculous every year. It’s no longer about entertainment. Its all about money and what network has the biggest balls. Its ashame how bad the industry is getting. your cutting shows like Jericho and such and all the film makers can think of is Remakes? Non Stop Remakes because nobody has any ideas anymore,everything has been done. Its all going to travel down a dark path. As a matter of fact,it did for me when I heard about a Karate Kid Remake! Pat Morita is probably spinning in his grave right now! Jacky Chan, Really?? I understand TV is a different animal than film but at the same token they are both going down a rocky road that is in desperate need of paving.

I have watched this show from the start I saw a promo for the premiere and thought it was an interesting concept. I must say I love this show, I plan my evening around it to make sure I don’t miss it. I personally don’t think that networks give these new shows enough time to find their sea legs so to speak, this is why I only watch a hand full of shows. I get so sick and tired of getting invested in a show one week only to have it canceled by the next week. It’s so frustrating, prime example of this is Night Stalker which starred Stuart Townsend as Carl Kolchak, and that vampire series Moonlight starring Alex O Loughlin. Alex O Loughlin is on a new series called Three Rivers, but I won’t watch it even though I’m a fan of his, simply because as I said I’m afraid of getting invested then it gets canceled.

I think the show has a great frame work, but things need to change with the directing, music and casting…. First off the Walter Bailey character needs to go as does the character Linsay Drake…. or both a new writer and a new director needs to be brought on board to tighten these two up. Both of them are being played as if they are doing a infomercial instead of a drama. The intro music is fine, but the rest of the musical score needs a serious over haul.

I hope that someone at the network level takes this series by the hand and makes some changes, if not…then Christian Slater and the rest of the cast are going to be looking for other gigs. I would bet money on it.

The show needs time for word of mouth from those that watch to bring in those that might not of given it a chance at first. That’s one way the numbers can increase, talk about the show with friends and support it on our social networking sites like FB or My Space or your favorite forum’s Off Topic or TV section if the y have one!

I really love the show. It follows what happens in a persons life that leads to what has happened to them. It reminds me of my favorite show that was just canceled Without a Trace. I rather enjoy this show, and I especially find the content exciting and unique.

It really would be a shame if they were to cancel it, just as ABC has canceled so many other wonderful shows, only to find afterwards, that they had a winner on their hands.

It really would be a terrible idea to get rid of this show, which, I think, opens the individuals mind as to what is out there in the “real” world and that this sort of thing happens every day.

It is not often that a show could affect people and make one think about the premise of the show, but I think that “The Forgotten” can be one of those shows, if it is not already for many individuals.

I know that the ratings are not that high, which completely baffles me, especially since this show has so much character to it, along with wonderful, yet extremely unique characters.

I hope that people will take a chance on the show by watching it, because it really will affect how they think about those missing John and Jane Does in the world who have no one.

I love the show, I hope they do not cancel it. They need to give it more time before they cancel. Everytime I get involved in a new show, they cancel it. All networks do this. I loved the show In Justice that used to be on Friday nights, did not last very long either. They leave the crappy shows on and take the good ones off. Thats why I watch HGTV most of the time, nothing worth watching on major networks, when you do get one they cancel it. I loved October Road, Everwood, Summerland, same thing happened to these also.

I’ve been watching the show from the beginning and find it an interesting concept but if it’s going to survive it needs help fast! The acting is decent but the writing is horrible and the plot lines are laughable–a goth girl killed by her new friend because she’s going to move back to Iowa? A skateboard dude who is killed by his best friend, a drug-addled Hispanic kid? Really? Is that the best they can come up with? I hope the series survives though because I love Rochelle Aytes (Ok, I’m her cousin-in-law) and Christian Slater.

Coming from media background I can see both sides. On one hand fans want to be able to continue to enjoy their favourite show. On the other hand, if ratings are lower than expected, advertisers (who rely on the ratings to determine whether to advertise) either pull out or ask to pay less for an ad slot. The network will balance how much expected ad money will come in for that show (plus dvd sales) against re-runs of a previously popular show/new show replacement.

In the past, shows were given longer time periods to develop, but with networks around the world struggling to survive, those networks are not simply prepared to gamble that a poorly rated show may pick up in the years to come or continue with it to simply keep a few fans happy.

I just wish the networks would give shows time to develop and connect with an audience. I think once we know what happened with Slater’s character’s family, we’ll be more drawn to the show. I know my wish won’t be granted and the show will be cancelled just like so many others that I’ve truly enjoyed over the years.

I love this show. It’s totally different. The victims talking about their lives before their death. LOVE IT. It may need a little tweeking but it deserves to be on tv. You look at actual people that are not supermodel or cutie pie guys just your everyday normal looking individuals trying to help an over worked police department with a ex-police officer who’s own life is jacked up. LOVE IT!!!

This last episode moved my husband and I to tears as there was a football coach that was killed recently, the news was in the headlines not too long ago…….I think the show is worth keeping!!!
There are few and far between any tv shows this season that keep the viewer continually interested, the comedy shows are funny, but in time that will wear off too, (sorry Kelsey G)…….and the cop/dr shows are just the same o same o storylines…….this show is something different, but because we personally enjoy it, that almost gives it a questionable future…….whoever is responsible for viewers opinions I hope they read ours!!!! I have this show programmed in my DVR to series record. I have really tried to get into it, but this is the third show I’ve watched and it’s horrible. I generally enjoy crime show dramas but this one makes NO sense. If the police could not figure out who the “forgotten” people in this series are, how do these regular people do it so easily? Especially while holding down full-time jobs! I definitely say cancel it, and quick!

I really like Christian Slater and I enjoyed “My own worst enemy” but this new show is a stinker. It needs canceling.

Sorry Christian, but this isn’t your come-back show. Don’t give up!
