Got hooked on The Glades on Netflix . I love this show I am sorry I didn’t find it sooner. Now watching on A&E. Please renew it . Got to find what happens!

I hope the show gets renewed, this is the only show that I have ever gone on line for and I have dvr’ed all the episodes in Season 4 so that I can watch over and over again. I think the cast works real well together and Jim/Callie’s relationship is 1 in a lifetime. A & E needs to keep this show and have more episodes. It is on the line of Perry Mason which I enjoyed.

I certainly HOPE this show is renewed for season 5. Surely they would not leave it to end as the finale did! Jim got shot in upper left back which might drop a lung and looks like the bullet came out on left abdominal wall so there would be some internal damage to abdominal organs. But it didn’t get his heart or his liver or his spine. Carlos will head over there quickly. Jim won’t die. Love this show but HATED this finale.

The end of Season 4 was NO series finale! That was the biggest cliffhanger of all previous seasons combined! Personally, I believe I know who’s involved & who’s guilty. That same person has been trying all season to make sure his life doesn’t change & has put EVERYONE he supposedly “loves” in life-threatening danger by doing so! He’s proved only one thing: that he’s selfish, unconcerned for the welfare of others, & that he will do anything & everything to ensure that he gets things his way & that includes what happened in the ending of Season 4!

You don’t do what was done at the end of the episode & get away with it. Everyone with a badge & a gun will be looking to kill the person responsible before arrest & questioning is even a possibility! The only good news is that a renewal means that we’ll have more Matt Passmore to which we can look forward in the coming months. I just hope that production is already underway & that we get a full-order for next season–22-24 episodes with a short hiatus in the middle. This show is too good to keep giving us these piddley half-seasons & then calling it a day! I’ve got one thing to say, though: the Marshals dropped the ball VIG TIME on this one! In reality, there is no one better at fugitive capture &/or killing. These guys are like blood hounds, & they need to do what they do best come season 5!

Now, A&E, DO THE RIGHT THING FOR ONCE! Give us a full order & make this show into what it’s potential shows it can be! There are always twists & there are always things completely unexpected, from beginning to end! The writing is fantastic, & it honestly reminds me of the old, black & white Perry Mason shows. Even though you know there’s a murder to solve, & even though you know the killer will be unmasked at the end of the show, you never expect anything that happens along the way. Perry Mason accomplished that, & many shows have tried & failed to copy the formula. “The Glades,” however, gives us everything the old shows did & more. Passmore & Sanchez have fantastic chemistry, as does all the main cast! This is the hardest thing in the world to achieve on a serial, & you’ve accomplished it brilliantly! Don’t screw it up & don’t go canceling the show after that cliff-hanger you’ve just left us with at Season 4’s end!

So true. I could never get enough of Perry Mason and thanks to you I now know why I love this show . I only look at maybe 4 or 5 shows a seasons, because most can’t hold my attention. I love this show. Hope it doesn’t get cancelled.

  5. Robert Montgomery says

The Glades should definitely be renewed!!! I haven’t missed one episode since its debut. If A&E cancels this show it will be a travesty to quality television!! There aren’t any programs that deliver such a unique combination of exquisite acting as w ell as writing and production on television. I am a loyal viewer of many A&E programs but that will change if The Glades is canceled!!!!

I LOVE the show, and Jim is terrific, as is the writing and the producing. PLEASE renew the show, its the only thing I wait for each summer—-I wish it was a prime time show. I watch the repeats—every one—–and find something new each time. The BEST show on tv!!!
