The Goldbergs: Season Two Renewal for ABC Sitcom

The Goldbergs season twoIt seems like the 80s are in again. ABC has renewed The Goldbergs for a second season. The show debuted last September and has been performing decently, despite airing opposite tough competition on the other networks.

On The Goldbergs, youngest son Adam (Sean Giambrone) videotapes his family’s 1980s craziness and provides commentary as an adult (Patton Oswalt). The rest of the cast includes Wendi McLendon-Covey, Troy Gentile, Hayley Orrantia, George Segal, and Jeff Garlin.

The fate of Trophy Wife, the freshman comedy which follows Goldbergs, is still up in the air.

What do you think? Do you like The Goldbergs? Are you glad that it’s been renewed or do you think it should have been cancelled instead?

This show has the chemistry to be around for years. The cast from the get go clicked. That is a sign of greatness. Actors are cast perfectly. Reminds me sometimes of “The Wonder Years”. With smart writing and intelligent writing. LONG LIVE THIS SHOW.

I really enjoy the show. This show is doing to the 80’s what The Wonder Years did for the 60’s. I like the cast. I am really glad it’s coming back, I have it set on my DVR.
