I can’t believe they canceled this show!! I am so upset!! I also did not hear about the show until it was in danger of being canceled.
Well considering they got rid of medium which is doing great on CBS, I should n’t be surprised!! Please CBS take this up too!! It fits very well with medium and ghost whisperer!!

I LOVE THIS SHOW… BEST SHOW EVER.. Ok its not even close to being the same as heroes I kinda like heroes but not near as much as I love the Listener, First off heroes is about tons of people with powers well the listener is about a normal world with this one family who has powers, This show is just awesome, I want to start a petition to keep this show going.. Its the first show I sat and watched and just could not stop.. Please don’t cancel it everything about the show is amazing, the cast is perfect oz is awesome and Toby is sweet and sexy.. Just when NBC comes up with a show that one can actually watch without tossing one’s dinner…………..they, in their wisdom, cancel it. Go figure. Not enough blood and guts? It actually has a story? Good reason for NBC to cancel it! Get another Conan O’Brien type show, or another mind wasting reality show going…………add it to the other 400 useless tries at entertainment. Or maybe we need another “dance” show……if that’s what that really is………..Give us a break, and give us some real entertainment for a change. Watching the Ed Sullivan show about now would be welcome!!!!!

I find it kinda annoying how new shows always get yanked off TV if they aren’t SUPER AMAZING!!!! in the first few episodes…

I think it’s stupid to get rid of the show we just got
Into the listner and then you cancel it !! You should give it a change
Maybe if you showed it at a normal time like 7:00 or 8:00 more
People get to watch it !! but no u show it at ten some
People actually have to get up early to go to work so 10 is to late so if u showed it
At 7 or 8 u could actually watch it .

Ok this is one of thee best shows ever along with
Supernatural, Heros and Criss angel. I dont watch alot of TV but the lisner is so good. and you got this AMAZING guy playing on it(Craig Olejnik),, like how can you cancel it He got gorgeous eyes a great smile and everything. And eveyone on the set works great together and on the filmin set nothing looks like it was worked on to hard or no ackwardness so keep the show for crying out loud! It mine and my nannys favorite show to watch together!!!!

The Listener is a fabulous show. How can those of us who live in the U.S. watch it. Please give us a website we can go to see it at after NBC stops providing it to us.
Many people are on vacation in the summer, and miss episodes because they are traveling. I don’t think this show has been given a fair shake.

I so agree with “ak”. I hardly watch any t.v. because so many shows are a waste of time to watch. I think this show is really well put together, the actors do a great job (and look great, too) and it appeals to casual viewers because it contains the “one-story-per-episode” along with a longer story line from show to show. It may be cheaper to air because it’s a Canadian show, but hey, we are in a recession, and even mega-million dollar corporations like NBC have to watch their budgets. Gotta keep The Office going, after all. We all know how exciting that show gets every week.

Nbc is ridiculous. Cutting down The Listener in its prime? It almost seems like they wanted it to fail! I have never seen a single advertisement or promotion for it anywhere so how can you expect people to watch the show if you don’t let them know it’s even on the air?! Most of the people, if you read, have found this show through hulu ( a great site) or by randomly seeing it when flipping channels. Is that how one of the big 3 (nbc cbs and abc) supposed to treat new shows? They gave it a chance but on what grounds? Putting it at 10 when most normal families are either wrapping up the day and going to sleep? I love the Listener, it is a great show with an enormous amount of potential. I have watched all the episodes via DVR and hulu and I was completely hooked until I go online to see if there will be a season 2 throughout the fall and apparently they’re thinking about just pulling the plug. This is why NBC is on the bottom of the pack, the lowest, because, even if a show is cancelled, isn’t it supposed to have a fair chance of 2 seasons? I swear, the Listener is the only reason I turned my tv on Thursdays and now there’s no point of even turning it on with all the garbage reality shows that’s on tv especially on nbc. NBC YOU SUCK!

Love the show. However, way too many people think a show isn’t good unless it has a lot of sex and violence. Sorry but I consider this a great show for adults and teens without someone having to put out. Give it at least another season, maybe try a different time slot.

I think the show may have already been cancelled. They only aired episodes 1-8 as of yet. recently on Hulu, i came across the episodes on their website. which includes episodes 9-13. So why would hulu be playing unaired episodes? if for any reason other then because the show must have been cancelled

I love this show! I was iffy about it at the beginning but by the finale it had really grown on me and I’m left waiting for more. I’m really hoping it gets a second season and would love if NBC picked it back up. I’m not fond of L&O or reality tv shows.
