This show is amazing and what NBC and all the others don’t seem to understand is that not all people are home to watch it for the ratings. They need to make there shows all available online so people can watch them when they can and count the ratings online as well.

I absolutely love the new NBC TV series “Harry’s Law? The writing is excellent. what’s more, the choices of actors was very well thought out. Those who cast Kathy Bates could not have made a better choice. The surrounding cast is very complimentary to the Harriet character, each with well developed character personalities. The topic of discussion are pertinent to today and bring up lucid ideas on solutions which are humanitarian in approach. Thanks. I have my doctoral in Interdisciplinary Humanities and I am totally thrilled to be able to view current problems being addressed on a show which focuses on the law. Changed have to be made, and this show can make a difference. Keep it on and run it for years. The topics are out there. It’s current, it’s pertinent, and it has value. You will find that your target audience will be people who have to power and the intelligence to understand the messages and will be those who will be able to make changes. Looking at people and valuing their qualities based upon individual situations should become a premise for good law. The key is a sense of humanity in law.

… have to at least give the series some closure. Something like this almost happend to the Roswell series on what used to be back then the WB 11 here in New York; they almost left it undone. Have to at least put something out to give it closure some cheap web episode or just even putting out a book would do the trick but please…. this needs to get closure. It just is not right to end something in that way.

The series left me with a taste for more and more and ,more….

This is the reality of many people. He uses his talent in a good way. he helps people… And many other reasons why the series is very interesting and easy to connect to it. My name is Emma, and i am from Israel,
This is the best series I’ve seen !!!
I was disappointed there were only 13 episodes !
I waited all day to see the chapter…
This series is fascinating, interesting, and always leaves a taste for more …
And Craig Olejnik plays the best role of any other player i knew.
All of the players in the series are very good !
For a long time i never seen such a good series !
I hope there’ll be another season !
The series came to Israel two weeks ago.
The season (1) ended two days ago and I already miss the series !

The major networks don’t deserve a fantastic show like The Listener.
Sell it to a cable network. I think it’s a perfect fit for USA, TNT or FX!

I want this show back, too! I don’t have cable so I wouldn’t know if it had ever been advertised, but I found The Listener on Hulu and thought it was great! I agree with the previous comment that it is like Lie to Me, Ghost Whisperer, and other popular shows. NBC should definitely reconsider their decision to cancel this show!! Maybe spend more on promoting it and give it another chance. Toby Logan is super cute, anyway! I really love//will miss watching The Listener!

wow…i never actually watched the movie on tv as i have satellite and miss a lot of shows on regular channels. However, i was able to catch some of the episodes on fancast.com and boy i was hooked right away. i am saddened that the show was canceled i wanted so much more.

I really liked the Listener. I agree with others that I very rarely take a chance on a new show on network TV anymore. It’s jolting to get caught up in a show and just have it disappear. Life, Life on Mars, Eli Stone, Listener–all the good, substantial new shows I liked last year were cancelled. This year I’m only watching the Good Wife–after one episode, figured it couldn’t fail. Other than that I’ll stick with the old standbys orwith cable for new shows.

I think that if NBC would put the good or starting show like the Listener in a timing manner where everyone is not out with family or working it will rate better. The time that they have the Listener on people like me are at work and end up trying to catch it online.. But so sad that they are canceling it. Rerun of Law n Order??? Come on.. I like Law n Order but it is getting old..

I am totally disappointed the show was cancelled…I was really hooked on the show. I thought the cast was excellent and the show was very intresting…I thought it was kind of weird to have such an excellent show air in the summer when the majority of people are vacationing and barbecuing…NBC should reconsider to re-launch this series in the fall. I believe it will have even greater ratings…Please bring the show back…You will have the viewers the show gained in the summer and new veiwers that never even heard of the show since it was cut off so soon.
Thanks so much and truly hope there is a chance this show comes back…I think it will totally kick butt….

It’s a disappointment that the American media is using the Canadian market to create their own shows. Maybe they should come up with their own ideas instead of stealing international concepts i.e., American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, any reality and cooking shows in general!! I’m 43 years old. The most popular American movie right now is from a British author; Harry Potter! The Listener was a great Canadian-based show. I’m guessing TRAUMA replaced THE LISTENER!

So waited and waited,what no more Listener???? What’s going on?

Bring back my favorite new show, go figure none of the CSI’s get yanks but finally a show that is a breath of fresh air and it gets axed. It took brains to watch this show that’s why hardly none of the 18000 people who have Nielsen rating boxes in their homes had. Just think ratings are based on 18000 so if your show isn’t one of the popular shows in the USA it does have a chance of surviving. No wondering TV isn’t worth watching anymore, to the executives that rely on these 18000 boxes its high time you listen to the voice of the millions who don’t have a box installed in their homes. Their the ones you should be listening to and not only the 18000, I say if they would at least find 1million homes but 18000 out of at least 300 million is not what I call an accurate study

I love this show and am sad they quit airing it! It’s the summer, everyone DVRs everything and how do you cancel a show based on summer ratings anyway? Bad call NBC. If you didn’t have so many new shows to keep up with and were more selective then you would have better ratings for your shows. CBS is booming with hit dramas because they don’t have all these stupid 30min crap show premieres. Maybe we’ll be lucky and TRAMA and MERCY will be all it’s cracked up to be unlike SOUTHLAND. I love cop shows but never liked this one.

I loved this show! I was on the edge of my seat for all of episode 13. NBC really is making a mistake if they don’t bring it back. CTV would do well to keep it going even if it doesn’t have NBC’s backing. They really need to learn not to repeat the mistakes other stations have made; like when Fox dropped “Firefly” and then it became this huge cult classic!

I am sooo tired of finding shows I like and then they get cancelled before they even are given a chance!!!! I loved this show and I hope that someone wises up and begins to air it again. This is the one show my husband and I actually enjoyed watching together as our television interests differ greatly, and it is the only show he makes me record so he wont miss it.
