The Mob Doctor: Guess the Second Episode’s Ratings

Mob Doctor TV show ratingsLast week, FOX unveiled their first new drama of the 2012-13 season — The Mob Doctor. Unfortunately, not enough people seemed to notice or care.

Following the season premiere of Bones, The Mob Doctor registered a disappointing 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.11 million total viewers. It was tied for third place in the timeslot and lost a significant percentage of its lead-in audience.

The ratings for new shows typically drop 10-20% in their second week and, with a poor showing to start, Mob Doctor can’t afford any declines. On top of that, both ABC and CBS will have very popular new shows on tonight. In short, things don’t look good for Mob Doctor and the series could easily end up being the first cancellation of the new season.

What will Mob Doctor's second episode's demo be?

  • below a 1.0 rating (24%)
  • a 1.0 - 1.2 rating (37%)
  • a 1.3 - 1.4 rating (17%)
  • a 1.5 demo rating (9%)
  • more than a 1.5 rating (13%)

Love MOB Doctor!! Can’t believe I heard it may be cancelled. Given what it’s competition is, give it a chance. Now days with all the Reality Crap it is nice to see a show that I can sit down with my husband to watch and we both really look forward to seeing. We DVR it every week and watch it Bones and Castle. They are some of the few good shows left out there to watch at the end of a long day and you just want to escape the craziness of the day. It has all the makings of a great show if you just give it a chance and maybe put more previews during primetime.
I wish the the TV industry would figure out that not everyone wants the Reality stuff and just want to be lost in a good show.

I say give Mob Doc a chance! I think given a chance and maybe with some more promos during peak times you will attract more interest and viewers. I think given their time slot they are up against some stiff competition. Secondly, it’s a fresh story line the actors are also fresh and engaging and lastly it’s has action, drama, romance and mystery all the makings of a hit, if given a chance.

Not sure why Mob Doctor would be cancelled. It’s against stiff competition and nothing that Fox might replace it with will topple those other highly rated shows. So, why not give it a chance? Some of us like watching Mob Doctor and Bones as well.

DWTS are repeats-seen them done that if you watch it. The Voice-30 and under care. CBS comedies are good and so are Bones/Mob Dr. Wonder if it counts that I watch B/M and tape the 4 comedies? ;>) Since repeats are on Sat, put it there too!

With 2 hour episodes of The Voice and Dancing With The Stars All Stars, plus the season premiere of 2 Broke Girls to compete against. The Mob Doctor is going to be pummeled in the ratings.
