Thanks for helping so many people . But they could have taken off Jerry Springer. Shows like that is the reason why kids can’t look at TV. I am disgusted with everything FOX. I will miss Montel and Sylvia since I believe this was actually a quality talk show, unlike Jerry Springer (nonetheless i still enjoy the poor quality show) and Maury.

I attended a reading on his show with a relative. Sylvia was close but likely because he gave so much info before she did the reading. I believe what I have read at StopSylviaBrowne.com. She’s a quack & in reality rarely gets a prediction right. She’s hurt many people with her guesses including the parents of Shawn Hornbeck. Remember he was the little boy who went missing. The one Sylvia said was dead in water of course and far away. In fact he was still in the area some 4 yrs. later alive & was returned home. That’s just one example. If she’s such a great psyic how come she didn’t see those fraud charges coming years ago? Shortly after she added the e to the end of her name. Sorry but she’s not real.

Is this for real? This is the first that I’ve heard of the Montel show being cancelled. I guess this is why I’ve not been able to find Sylvia Browne then. What a darn shame! It’s sad… people complain all the time about the sex and violence that’s thrown on television. Yet that take off people with good faith like Montel… It’s really sad… I am very disapointed. Everything that gives us some faith and hope in life is being taken from us. Lifetime made the same mistake when they took LIsa Williams off. So I watch less and less T.V. now thanks to them, I guess I should be thankful.

Second : Where is the ‘old neighborhood’? I doubt Montel or anyone else has ever lived there.

One of the Many said: That actually makes a lot of sense with regards to Sylvia Brown. I know I read somewhere that all her “predictions” for the year 2007 were false. Go figure!
I have to admit I stopped watching Montel quite some time ago..in fact I stopped watching talk shows in general..(aside from Oprah of course) because of how trashy they became. But isn’t it ironic how the trashier the show the longer the longevity (ie, Jerry Springer, Maury, etc). Surprising that Montel actually got roped into her corrupt psychic scheme.

I too started out as a fan of Montel Williams but he totally squandered the good faith he had with the public by consistently parading out the perpetual fraud Sylvia Brown. For the record, I have nothing against psychics and legitimate ones may indeed exist. But like many in the public I couldn’t stomach Brown’s reckless remarks to grieving parents and the like about their missing children. Think I’m kidding? Google Sylvia Brown and missing kids or Anderson Cooper’s report on this charlatan. The once noble Montel sold his soul for ratings driven by this predatory fraud. Good riddance.

I cannot believe that FOX has canceled a super and very innovative show as The Montel Williams Show! This show has been a mainstay in weekly talk shows for my family and others I am sure. Always entertaining as well as informative. Great subject matter and always heartfelt responses to both his audience and guests. FOX needs to recheck their reasoning for this shows cancelation, they have MANY other shows that are REALLY bad and in need of cancellation, or replacing, but NOT The Montel Williams Show. I swear these big wigs are removing lots of great shows for no reason at all and replacing them with silly and assinine shows which no one wants to watch. I am now down to basically watching two hours of television a day due to all the worthwhile shows being taken away. It’s just not worth it anymore to sit and watch the trifling mess of crap shows they are producing now. What’s the use in having a TV if there’s nothing to watch? Check yourself FOX, you made a HUGE mistake with this one, FIX IT BEFORE IT’S TO LATE!!!! BRING MONTEL BACK!!! God bless Montel, his family and crew, and Sylvia Browne as well, for the best 17 years of show that FOX ever gave and probably will ever have given. Where have I been — I didn’t know that Montel was cancelled. FOX — you are morons. Montel gets fired for his opinion, for what tons of other mothers, fathers, sister, brothers, ALL of us wonder. Montel, there are positively no words to even come close to describing how much of a wonderful person you are and how many wonderful things you have done! I still cry because I can no longer watch you on t.v. and because you DID NOT deserve that! I totally agree with you about how they should be reporting more on our men and women over seas instead of a “star”. I’m sorry but, Heath didn’t do anything to give us our freedom!! I’m sorry about what happened to him, but if it weren’t for our troops, he wouldn’t have gotten to be an actor or anything else! Montel, you have no idea how much you’ve helped me! I suffer from Polyarticular Rheumatoid Arthritis, Pleurisy, Raynaud’s Phenomenon, Infertility, Irregular Heartbeat and many other things such as allergies, migraines and now my gallbladder needs to be removed. If it weren’t for you, your words, your show, your strength, your courage, love, compassion, honesty, honor and just everything you are and everything you stand for….then I guarantee you..I would not be living today. You are the one thing that keeps me going and keeps me motivated every single day. I love you and I loved your show. I also no longer watch or support FOX. I have many many many choice words for them and for anyone who doesn’t support you and/or your show! You given me the strength to fight for what is right and for my life. I really cannot put into words what you have done for me and for many others. Also, my one single wish I have before I pass on to the next life, is to meet you and be able to talk to you and thank you in person. This world needs more people like you. Montel, it was great watching you all these years. I used to watch quite often in the 90s during HS when I had more free time, but you have always been one of the only positive talk shows on the air. Now all you have all this Jerry Springer trash and Maury ghetto “who’s my baby’s daddy”.

The only thing I didn’t approve of on your show was Silvia Brown, but I do think that you have done a LOT of good over the years, and I hope you continue on in some way. If you can’t get picked up by television, maybe you could even do something in radio, or at least have a segment in a paper or news show. Either way, I’m sure you’ll be helping others even if we don’t see it in public view.

So, it was a good run Montel! I think the end of your show is the end of an era where TV could be used to accomplish good things. But that doesn’t mean good things need to stop in the world.

I just heard in the last week that the Montel show has been cancelled. I’m thoroughly disgusted with FOX and like others (Terra) I will no longer watch the FOX channel. We live in America, which is supposed to be the most “free” country in the world…what happened to Freedom of Speech? It’s apparent that we are free to speak our mind as long as it doesn’t piss anyone off, or actually tell the truth…What a shame. This country is falling apart more and more everyday. For those of you who don’t like Sylvia, that is your opinion. But, your feelings about her shouldn’t overshadow the good that Montel has done over the years.

Montel, I hope you read this and know that there are millions of us fans who admire you and enjoy the fact that you are brutally honest…I hope to see Montel in the political circuit. He’d make a good president…:)

I can not exactly say that I am a fan of the Montell Williams show , because I really have not had the chance to watch it as it obviously airs when I am usually at work .

Today I am off sick from work and I happened to catch his show , I just would like to say this man had me in tears watching all the good things he has done for people .

For one thing I am never moved like that , I am a 38 year old male, Married ,with one boy.
A lot of times I guess us guys have to put up a front to show how tough we are and I guess it was a good thing nobody was home .

If the world had more people like Montell Williams we would be a lot better off .

I am not a holy roller but I can tell that God moves in this man , No I can feel God moving in this man .
I felt it today and there is no questioning it .

I have heard that his show is being cancled ?
Why in the world would anyone do that ?
I wish I was a powerful man so that I could convince the higher ups not to do that .

Thank you Montell for all that you have done for everyone .
Sure you could have had a show like Springer or the like , but you chose to want to help people , people you don’t even know.

I thank God for people like you .

I am sorry I never really had the chance to watch your shows , it seems I missed something really special .

I will pray that God moves in the hearts and minds of the people that control what stays and goes on television , because I can think of a lot of things that deserve to go , definitley not Montell’s show .

Money isn’t everything .

I am soo upset hearing that your show is coming to an end. You have proved what a wonderful kind hearted person you are. Even though you’ve had your own health problems, you still went on helping so many other people and their families through the years. Montel, you are a rarity. Never have I witnessed someone with so much love, honesty and sensitivity. We are truly blessed to be touched by your wisdom and selflessness. My heart is breaking that my favorite show is being cancelled. I hope you can now concentrate on running for President in 2012..
You have done such a good job at cleaning up our bodies..now it is time to clean up our country!!

While entertaining, you always felt the main reason Montel wanted to be on the air was to see what good he could do for people that sincerely needed it.
Anymore if the program is not sexually oriented or just plain tacky by dialogue, it doesn’t seem to fit.
I enjoyed Montel very much and I so hope there is something bigger and better out there for him. I also wish for him the best of health.
I am so sick of what is being called Reality programs, they literally make me sick and I wouldn’t watch one, if paid.

I am so sad to see that the Montel Williams show has been cancelled who ever made that decision has made a terrible mistake. The Montel Williams show is the only talk show I watch, its the only one worth watching, due to the fact that it is down to earth, sincere, and honest, the topics touch everyones hearts and llives. This show is original, informative, well presented and educational not like some shows you see that seem to run the same topics over and over.

I wish Montel all the best on his future endeavours, I also hope another station will pick up the Montel Williams show.

I am very saddened to hear of this. Montel’s show is and has been one of the very best shows on the air. The show truly helps many people and has always taken the high road- unlike so many other talk shows through the years. I hope he is picked up on another station. I will continue to watch there. Montel belongs on t.v. Many others do not.

Good bye and good riddance. Now if only they would cancel showing the reruns. I’ll give him credit for sticking up for the vets when he was on the Fox and Friends and put those jerk offs in their place (for which he was cancelled) but his many years of pimping that scam artist Sylvia Browne is shameless. Hey Sylvia how come you didn’t see the cancellation coming? Could it be becasue you’re full of crap? And Monte, here’s a little clue. I had heard bout this a month ago but didnt believe it. The show is going off the air for something our montel said on a fox news channel that “fox” didnt like. (talking bout why britney in the news but the news NEVER talks bout our children in the war). Fox didnt like it.. so they got rid of him. So much “power” this ppl have. I for one am boycotting Fox!

I just heard what happened and i am not a happy camper. how could they do this to Montel. God bless him for keeping our troops alive of talking about them. I have a daughter over there fighting our country, putting her life on the line. we hardly hear anything anymore about the soldiers on tv. Someone has to keep talking about them and god bless Montel for doing so. Bring back The Montel Show immediatley. How dare u do this to us and him. I love you Montel. Dear Montel,

I am sad to hear that your show is being cancelled. My family was invited to your show to talk about Neurofibromatosis and The NIH in 2007. Our show was aired on July 6, 2007 and if it was’nt for you inviting us we would have lost our house and other belongings. Your help with paying our mortgage and giving our son Allen who is 9 and has 58 tumors on his spinal cord and abdamin and his only his wish was to own a Nintindi WII and you made that come true. It was the most amazing thing anyone could of done for us. The look on my son’s face was priceless. Saving us from loosing everything we own is overwelming. I was able to have 3 surgeries this year to have some of my tumors removed from my finger tips and not worry about how we will pay for our house. There will NEVER be a show like yours again. God bless you and every one who works for you because you and all of them treated us like family. My 3 sons Thank You so much for the WII and they will never forget you as well. Take care of yourself!! thank you for saving us!!!

CBS What are you thinking? You have a great show with Montel. He has great subject matter and it is very informative. I just don’t understand why his show is being cancelled. Maybe you should rethink your decision.

Good gracious I am SICK of hearing the “it’s a republican’s fault” and war this, Bush that. Get over it already! BOTH parties have done bad things I promise.

With that being said, I am really sad to see Montel is being cancelled. He really did great things with his show and the issues he covered. He has more integrity and heart than any other talk show host that I have seen. I will miss his show.

Holy sh*t, just like with Phil Donahue out of sight we are losing the truth coming through our tv sets. Why are we losing our good old airwave tv to digital ? Wake up people,the damn republicans who own most of the tv stations want all of us little people to not know what is going on in the our own country. I hate my digital cable that goes off when there is the littlest storm,good old tv still comes on with rabbit ears. I only wish there was some kind of rabbit ears that would get around all the bullshit that whoever owns our airwaves I could cancel. I Love Love Love Montel. Hey, maybe he will be replaced with the ‘When Does Britney Take a Sh*t Show’!
