Halloween has been a big deal on NBC’s The Today Show for several years now. Once a year, the morning news program devotes much of its airtime to all things spooky and creepy.
Onlookers at 30 Rockefeller Plaza are encouraged to dress for the occasion and the news anchors good-naturedly get into the act as well. Last year’s ocean theme was a bit disjointed with Meredith Viera dressed as a mermaid, Matt Lauer impersonated Captain Jack Sparrow, and weatherman Al Roker as Captain Davey Jones. This time around, the news team went with a more concise theme and raided the closet of a certain family at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Take a look and stay tuned!
