It looks like Chloe King may indeed have nine lives, or at least her show may have a second one. At today’s ABC Family session of the Television Critics Association Press Tour, president Michael Riley said that a TV movie of cancelled The Nine Lives of Chloe King may be coming.
The Nine Lives of Chloe King was cancelled in September following a less-than-successful season of 10 episodes. Like many ongoing serials that end prematurely, Chloe King left viewers with lots of unanswered questions. In the final episode, Chloe (Skyler Samuels) lost another of her lives and was kissed by Brian (Grey Damon) — who then died (?) from the contact. Alek (Benjamin Stone) walked in on his brother Zane (Daniel Sharman) as he stood over Jasmine (Alyssa Diaz) and Valentina (Alicia Coppola) as they are dying from poison.
Interestingly, Riley prefers not to talk about the cable channel’s decisions to cancel certain shows and that includes Chloe King. He said, “We never talk about cancelling shows at ABC Family. We always make sure we air all of our productions because for us, it’s very much a long-term view. Honestly, we love all of our shows, and Chloe King is such a great example of just an amazing show. We loved the cast, we loved the writing in that show. For us, it was about making some decisions. We had to choose between what we thought was resonating stronger with the audience.”
Riley continued, “We are actually on the verge of putting a movie into development. For us, we are always looking at the intellectual property that we’re capitalizing on and making sure there is opportunity.” He emphasized that the projects not a done deal yet however, saying, “We are just looking at it in development right now. The idea is very much to capitalize on the storytelling that’s already been in place.”

I found this show on Netflix and instantly became addicted. I love this show! So dissapointed they cancelled. Absolutley crushed. And by looking at the 384 other people who love this show on Netflix, they better bring it back for more seasons, not a movie. There is no way they could do the story and characters justice in a short movie. Say several more seasons. Id only watch it with original cast, right where they left off. And abc family should use the social media to market, there are more viewers than they think.

I love this show it was my favorite and when i heard they were cancelled i was crushed. It left such a cliffhanger. Ive seen too many shows that end like this. Its disappointing really. Like Kate said, BIG mistake.
The show was fantastic! I can watch it over and over again and it never gets old because its too good! I LOVE Alek and Chloes relationship and i wanna see them together in the show! Im dying for season 2! Please do it for all the Fans! I would love to see the show go on forver and ever! <3 much love xoxo
This was an awsome show and like many others that air during the summer this one recieved poor ratings at the time it was shown but now that it has been shown on netflix people really like it, it is different and exciting unlike other things out there, a movie would be ok but bring back the series would be best and trying to get it on during the fall when everyone is watching would be the best thing for this series, i know i and many of my friends were sad to see this one go. I say bring back the tv series and watch the ratings fly.
I just finished watching season 1 on Netflex. I hope the do make a movie from where they left off so they can finish the story . I thought it was a good show.

I love the show and wish it wasn’t canelled. I watched it faithlly. I would enjoy a movie or for the show to return. I have had too many shows I love just end with no closure! Then there are so many crappy shows on TV. It doesn’t make sense!
I heard that they got picked up for another season off of Benjamin Stone’s website not too long after the first one ended. But then my friend told me that they cancelled it and I was completely in denial since i loved the show so much. It was a great show and different too which is why I think I liked it so much because it wasn’t like anything on TV. I really wish they would bring it back on air, and a movie would be great too, but I would really prefer the series back though. It’s terrible how they just left all those loose ends after the last episode, I just wish they never cancelled it because it was a HUGE mistake.
