I started watching The OC at the start. I enjoyed it but Marissa just became far too annoying so i stopped watching it. Killing her off was the best thing in the show and consequently i began to watch it again. It was so much better than before and i was hooked good n proper this time. Then they decided to axe it. Right up to the Earthquake episode was compulsive viewing. Great stuff. Then came the final episode. What a joke….It was like missing out half a season! So much so i had to check i hadnt missed any! Sorry but im sorely disappointed with Fox and the hurried fashion they made the writers churn this out. Sad for the show, the writers, the cast and the fans but i hope this one bites Fox in the ass!

Wow, I stopped watching from season 2. Sad that it has ended. I luved seth, he was soo funny…even though its script, I dont think anyone couldve done a better job at making me laugh. Ryan sucked. All in all, great show.

But nothing beats stargate and smallville, nothing!

I was so pissed after the stupid ending of SG-1, it was my life, I even planned different types of endings I would like, and they failed me.

So cheer up guys, I got over SG-1 ending on a stupid note, life goes on.

Bring back the O.C I say, take off E.R instead.

I was very upset to hear that the show was cancelled and signed every petition I could find to keep it on the air. I loved it from the very beginning in fact it made me want to visit Newport Beach even though I know it’s fiction.

I started watching this show over the summer after bowling leagues, the funny thing was i got hooked. i can relate so much to the show it’s stupid. i haven’t been able to watch too much this year because of both work and class. but i’ve been able to download what i missed and have only been a week behind. i love the show and i am sad to see it go. low ratings my ass. it was a modern day 90210 and it reached out to a lot of people. next year there will be something new along the same lines and i won’t watch it because this was more than a four season show. it could of went on. i was glad to see though that adam married racheal but all the same it was a quick cut to what could have been. a quick wrap up of what was enevitably in store. this show will be missed

I think that not having the oc anymore is very depressing. My son at the age of 15 every night would come in just to watch the oc. I wish they would reconsider making another season!

after such a promising start and 2 great seasons, the writers and the channel should take full responsibility for the shows demise, the ratings only fell as they couldnt stick to the solid pacing that the first series in particular had. why on earth they couldnt find some good writers is beyond me, and why they put it up against csi and greys anatomy. fans put in a lot of time, money and effort and the cast too. im pretty angry because it kind of makes fans realise that they cant rely or trust in any show on tv to run a natural true course, without being cut down and pushed around, ruining the love that people had for these shows in the first place. shame on the powers that be. i think we are going to lose 30 Rock, we already lost arrested development (although it ended satisfyingly) and dead like me (which didnt), veronica mars (rubbish 3rd season),

only show that i think ended properly.

The OC seasons 3 and 4 were just a complete mess, and I think that those that make it should take full responsibilty, thats all.

I’m 42 and have watched this show from day one. It was my saving grace after 90210 ended. So, I was very disappointed when I heard it was being canceled. I too, hoped the CW would pick it up…not sure why they didn’t. Having said that, I was very satisfied with the finale last night. I wish Fox would have put it in a different time slot. I think that would have made a huge difference. I wish the cast continued success. Thanks for a great 4 yr. run!

I loved the o.c it was my favourite show and i cried all the way through the last episode and i liked the ending when summer and seth got married that was so sweet i will miss the o.c terribly luckly they have dvd’s! all the episodes were great. thankyou to the producers and writer’s for making such a great show and choosing such a great cast they were all great actors.

I’m shocked and angry that FOX have cancelled the OC! Just when they finally get rid of Marissa and the show is really thriving! Taylor and Ryan were so funny and sweet to watch, a nice change to watching Marissa getting into trouble. Why not cancel the shows that nobody wants to watch and leave the good ones alone!!!!!

ok I am a little upset with the comments the cast left. some of them are bittersweet and some are just so horrible. to think that these people are just thinking of it as just a job. this show actually got me through things and it made me actually think things can and will happen. im especially dissapointed with adam he just saw this show as another job. he was my favorite. i cried last episode because i cant get it through my head its been ending. well r.i.p. oc i hope and hope just maybe you might come back for another season.

So sorry to see this show end. My daughter and I looked so forward to Thursday nights and “our” The OC. It was a great time for discussions. We laughed a lot and cried when Marissa died. We were great Ryan and Marissa fans. We loved all 4 seasons and we agree with the fans that say, FOX you are making a huge mistake. The only thing wrong with The OC was the timeslot you put it in. watching the show is hard enough without her, but then to see that episode…….

I loved this show. Personally, I was gripped by Ryan in the first episode. He has held me charmed from then on. He doesn`t have to say a word and you know how he`s feeling. A great actor. He will always have a small place in my heart. I wish all the cast well for the future.

This show was amazing it was the only one i ever watch and i dont understand why they have to take it off the air. the main reason why i belive it is getting low ratings is because the show is getting riped off cause there on the same time as CSI and ER and a bunch of diffrent shows. but its ok cause FOX is making the biggest mistake they will ever make

It must have been a sad day for the cast of The Oc but it seems like everyone is looking forward to moving on and working on new projects. I was a huge fan of The OC during seasons 1 and 2. I do want to catch the season finale to see how it all ends.
