I ‘DITTO’ all of the above comments! This was one of the best shows I have seen in years. The lead was a great actor, portraying a fascinating character and some of the major needs in the world were being conveyed. People might actually want to try to start helping others, which was an important lesson to be learned from the script. PLEASE BRING THE SERIES BACK FOR A FULL SEASON AND BEYOND!

YES, The Philanthropist is a GREAT show…
So was Life…and Life On Mars ! And what the ‘Heck’ happen to Chuck?!?
I think the writers are really good at just what they do, I just question the networks…”…if the ratings aren’t up (way-up…), the shows get canceled…even if the shows are really good !

I would like to say this is the best TV series I’ve seen in a long time. I’m only 25 but for the past ten years the only thing thats on are these stupid reality shows. When have you ever seen a good American Family set down and watch one of them. I remember watching bonanza, the waltons, Beverly hillbillies. Its good hearted show like them and the philanthropist that makes poeple realize they can make a difference in this world by helping others. All of those other shows the real world, Girls next door, ect they just make the youth want to try and be cool crazy like them and thats where our nations going to poop.
