TV show description:
This dramatic TV series follows the life of Gloria Sheppard (Ally Walker), a single mother and detective in the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division. A recent divorcee and single mother, Gloria has to juggle her job duties as an intuitive homicide detective while taking care of her twin sons, Nick (Sage Ryan) and Leo (Thomas Robinson). The small family moves into the house of Gloria’s troubled younger brother, Davey (Chris Payne Gilbert), and he helps her raise the young boys.

At work, Gloria works on some of Los Angeles’ most high profile crimes with her partner, Detective Michelle Dulcett (Tisha Campbell-Martin). They often work alongside officer Ramon “Romeo” Rush (Terrell Tilford). He has a flirty relationship with Dulcett, who often wonders why he never became a detective himself. They also woth with Detective Buerge (Larry Joe Campbell) and Detective Van Stone (James Hanlon).

Sheppard and Dulcett are overseen by commanding officer Lieutenant Felix Valdez (Miguel Ferrer). He often brings brilliant solutions to the table that help get Sheppard out of sticky situations with her colleagues as a result of her unorthodox methods of solving crimes.

I thought there was finally hope for Lifetime. The Protector was a great show sure hope someone reconsiders….of course Lifetime can always go into their full loop of reruns ad nauseaum of The first 48 or America’s Most Wanted

This is so sad. My family loved this show. I think Ally Walker and Tisha-Campbell Martin are both great actresses and make any role they play believable. I do not understand why good shows like this are cancelled. Is there any chance of being picked up by another network?

What a shame, Just discovered this great show and thought Maybe LifeTime was more intellegent than NBC, FOX and ABC and would give great shows a chance. Guess I was wrong. To bad as was just starting to watch more shows on this network but if they can’t show more intellegence than this will not watch anymore.
