The Sing-Off: Season Four Ratings

The Sing-Off ratingsIn 2011, NBC tried The Sing-Off as part of the regular season. It couldn’t compete, the ratings were poor, and it could have been cancelled for good. Now, they’re bring the series back for the holidays. Will it become a holiday staple or will it be cancelled? We shall see.

A singing competition that’s hosted by Nick Lachey, The Sing-Off competitors are judged by Ben Folds, Shawn Stockman, and Jewel.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

For comparisons: The third season of The Sing-Off (which aired in the fall) averaged a 1.5 rating in the demo and 4.56 million viewers.

Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you still like The Sing-Off TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for another season?

The Sing-Off is by far the best arena for showcasing the amazing amount of true vocal talent that is out there today! To be able to watch so many talented people, both young and old, learn and grow with the guidance of the judges is truly a gift. I can only hope that NBC brings it back for a 5th season and beyond.

I enjoy all the sing show competitions. For me, it beats all the violence on a lot of the other stations.

This along with the X Factor, American Idol and the Voice are stupid worthless programs. They all need taken off the air. Don’t forget the stupid DWTS and trash like Honey Poo Poo, and The KaTRASHians . Worthless junk and waste of money on stupidity. No value or entertainment value of any of those.
