It seems highly unlikely that Sesame Street’s core demographic watched The Sopranos finale back in June. Still, that hasn’t stopped the Sesame Workshop folks from giving a nod to the famous cut-to-black ending.
Here’s a cute skit from Sunday night’s Elmo’s Christmas Countdown special featuring Paulie Walnuts and Bobby Bacala, uh, rather, Tony Sirico and Steve Schirripa.
Thankfully the pair are in good spirits. I’d hate to see a Muppet get whacked, particularly on a holiday special. Stay tuned!
