Good Im glad the bachelorette got bumped. When you can watch real people win something and not take home someone you don’t know that well. Superstars remind me of battle of the network stars when abc first had it back in the 70′s.

I was so frustrated when the finale didn’t aire. I was actually freaking out. This is the only show my husband and I have ever watched together, so I was ticked. We actually had started telling everyone we knew they needed to watch it. Even though it isn’t the best show I’ve ever seen, it was still extremely entertaining!

I can’t believe ABC switched the Bachelorette for The Superstars. I think that the Superstars is a really good show. I would give it a 4.5/5. Give it another season. It intertains millions of people.

My family and I were really disappointed and aggravated that we were not given some kind of notice that the finale of Superstars would be aired at a later date. We thought the finale might have aired on another night or time, or was delayed till the next week. When our local paper T.V. guide didn’t show it being aired the following week we were quite upset. We are really glad we found this site and will see the finale this week. I hope in the future you will run a message if you bump or dump a show, it will alleviate the stress. Just one comment on the show: It was a real eye opener how many (so called adults) are such bad sports.

I was very upset to have the finale of the Superstars replaced with with the Bachelorette. I had watched that show the previous night and did not need a repeat.

Having watched every episode of The Superstars, I was really angry to tune in for the finale and find The Bachelorette instead! It was a very, VERY bad move for ABC to make the switch. I loathe The Bachelor / Bachelorette and their tacky morals — kissing many different partners and even spending the night with one or more of the contestants before a final decision is made. EEW!!! What kind of example is THAT? Bring back The Superstars — at least let us see the finale! (Go Maks & Kristi!)

I have a group of 6 that get together on Tuesday nights just to watch The Superstars and we were all extremely disappointed that it didn’t air last Tuesday. We all love this show because we get to see a different side of some of our favorite celebs and athletes. It’s just head to head fun competition and it’s good family viewing, Does ABC feel like it has to air racy shows in order to get viewers? C’mon!

I’ll be watching. I’ve enjoyed this show from the beginning. Rooting for Maks and Kristi. This show is great because it’s a straight competition. No need to make phone calls or remember to call within a certain time period. I feel this show give celebs and pros the chance to create their own outcome and I’m enjoying the ride to watching them. I was bummed about the rescheduling, especially with how odd it is ABC airs a promo for after the final rose show announcing Jillian’s choice, but the finale show hadn’t even shown who she picked yet. Poor editing by ABC. I hope Superstars will continue.

Bad move and judgement on ABC’s part for not airing the “Superstars”. How can you give any new shows a chance at good ratings if you don’t air them when they are scheduled? I think the Bachelorette has seen its day by far. The Superstars is a great, fun-filled family show. I think with all the positve comments about this new show you should think about giving it a chance. My children, hubby and I were disappointed when it was not on for it’s finale. Way to go, ABC!

Superstars is good family programming, The Bachelorette is not, I was embarrased tuning in with my children only to see some gal kissing two different guys, I turned off of the channel entirely. I hope my team wins, but will not tune in to find out. Not an appropriate alternative.

Please air the final episode !!! We have enjoyed some of the teams that have stayed true to the concept of friendly competition. Pairing the athletes with celebrities is a great idea just expected to see more comraderie overall.

ABC: The folks who you have producing The Superstars have mangled all its potential into pain for the audience who has to glean the good stuff from the preponderance of junk. Why spend so much time on the teams who are losing instead of the team who are winning? Why not share the give-and-take behind the events so that we begin to actually know the people we’re watching and have some human interest? Why allow folks who opted NOT TO PARTICiPATE in TWO of the events to remain in contention to become the champions??? Where is your sense of sportsmanship? Where is your dedication to fair and open competition? Why have you screwed the valid competitors by how you portray the events???? And then you renege on the finale??? THE PROGRAM DIRECTORS AT ABC SUCK!!!

Wow…I’m very surprised that the viewers numbers were not higher. But my husband and I really looked forward to watching our superstars go outside their comfort zone. But more importantly, whoever’s decision it was to simply ‘unannounced’ not show this show, should have at least taken the viewer’s in consideration & announced the change. ABC should have had the consideration for us viewers that awaited for the Finale of Superstars to at least put a banner across the bottom of the TV screen saying what is going on and that Superstars would be aired on 8/4 – instead it kept us in suspense and made viewers unhappy.

Both my husband and I enjoy the competition of Superstars and do not get caught up in the smut or trash of the “reality shows” that are not reality at all! Family TV has gone down the TUBES.

I’ve been watching Superstars and although it wasn’t great programming, I would have liked to have seen the finale. I had no interest in the Bachelorette whatsoever so the next time you start a show, especially if you let it go to the last show, you should show it or at least do a better job of announcing that it would not be shown so people won’t have to tune in to some other junk that you have in it’s place.

I don’t watch those trashy dating-relationship shows period, but if I were a suit at a major net, I woulda saved a replay of the Bachelorette finale for an AVVOUNCED replacement for a cancelled show. As it is, there’s a different viewership for ‘Superstars’ than there is for ‘Bachelorette’, & it’s apparent that viewers expecting to see the SS finale tuned out in droves. Batch drew far fewer viewers than the SS finale would have.

Those suits KNOW that this type of reality show doesn’t do well in reruns anyway, so why throw it away as they did? If they chooseta air Batch again, they’ll be lucky to have 2.5 million viewers, while, if they’d ANNOUNCED a rerun airing, they woulda prolly had over 5 million viewers.
Since SS is most likely history, why not air the finale at its announced time & be done with it?

While not achieving the level of stupidity of The Heidi Game (in Nov. 1968, with 65 seconds left of the AFL game between the Jets and the Raiders, with the Jets poised to win, NBC decided to drop the game to start its evening feature, the movie Heidi; as the movie started, the Raiders scored 14 points and went on the win…) ABC’s decision to drop the scheduled finale of the “Superstars Finale” for a rerun of the sleazy “Bachelorette,” is right up there in the pantheon of bad programming decisions. ABC demonstrates incredibly bad faith and total disregard for loyal viewers.

Of all the episodes to bump, why the finale?! The original series in the 70′s was much better and a retooling of this reincarnation could take many pages from that book. Why does every reality show have to have an elimination round? Just give us different athletes each week competing and it’ll definitely do better.

I remember the original Superstars back in the early 80′s when everyone was an athlete. That was an amazing competition. Although this isnt to the caliber as the original, it is still a good show. Would someone please tell the networks to stop with the reality show stupidity. Now you get to watch fat people finding love. I mean come on… have we sunk so low that we will watch that crap…..

I think that Kristi and Maks will dominate. To be quite honest, Kristi is an incredible athlete in her own right and I don’t think Maks is carrying the team. They are equally doing a great job and Kristi has pulled Maks out a few times! I think Bode and Paige will come in second and Lisa and David (press *****) will take 3rd. Could be an interesting turn of events!?!?

This one is going to be won by Maksim and partner, no contest. i knew that from the beginning. That team had a huge advantage with Maks being cast as the celebrity. As far as I am concerned dancing is a sport. i looked up sport in the dictionary and dancing fits the definition. You either win or lose, you play by a set of rules. It is an activity that requires a lot of stamina. He even mentioned in an interview that dancers are athletes. If you know maks from DWTS you know how competitive he is. They had an unfair advantage, he “the celeb” is carrying the team. Bode will probably come in number 2, but Maks is unstoppable now.
