It was in January 1952, and she was a very young 22-year-old 'Newsreader'. She wore a dark long-sleeved sweater while casually slouching forward on her desk, leaning on her elbows. At one point an incredulous Garroway demanded that she remove the gum from her mouth! I was watching.
