Americans need to see the life of our military and their families; to understand and appreciate just what our military personnel go through. Yes! it extremely sucks they cancelled of one of the best written & acted show on television. Let’s be real we know who cut the show of the air do to the episodes that were to close to the truth. The U.S. Government got the show cancelled do to episodes such as (Pandemonium Part 1 & 2). Which they even state in the special features that they wrote the episode as pure fiction. Yet! months later fiction became reality in the news with an eerie similarity to those episodes that The Unit writes wrote.

As an Australian in China I just loved The Unit, totally addicted to it. Agree with all the comments I’ve read, the networks are shooting themselves in the foot by treating us like idots and fodder. We will turn to alternatives, the next generation (my son is one of them) just don’t watch TV because of the way the networks behave toward us.

I hate when the network takes a good show off the air. It pisses me off. I looked forward to the new season and when it didn’t air I was upset. I enjoyed The Unit. I thought it was a GREAT SHOW. Me and my husband watched it every Sunday Night. I think you should air it agian. AND SOON. WE MISS IT.

I think this was one of the best TV shows that CBS had coming on that a lots of people enjoyed seeing that seem to be realist. Since you are talking about bring it back on into syndication what is the reason the same characters such as Dennis Haysbert, Regina Taylor, Robert Patrick, Scott Foley and company want be involved? I’m hoping whoever pick this show up they will consider having those characters back. Too me they were they actors and actress that made the show seem exciting to watch.

I loved that show and would really like to know what channel I will be able to watch it on? I don’t have cable. The ending that they came up with would have been great. Eli Stone was another one that was a good show. The Medium, in my opinion, cannot compair to those two shows.

This is why we stopped watching alphabet channels. No consistency! They are dying a fast death and cable is eating them alive. Their news programming is horrible any decent drama and comedy has hidden political leftist messaging. No problem no one will miss them and they will join the unemployed. HOW CAN CBS CANCEL ONE OF IT’S BEST SHOWS AND BROADCAST OTHERS THAT ARE JUST PLAIN CRAP?? “THE UNIT” WAS ONE OF, IF NOT THE BEST SHOW IN PRIME TIME. IT WAS WELL WRITTEN AND WELL ACTED AND WAS WELL WORTH WAITING FOR EACH WEEK. It continues to be disappointing when executives who are barely connected to life decide what the rest of us would like to view. I have to agree with those who point out that only the devoted could regularly find the time slot where the network moved it.
I was always excited to find it and looked forward to this season. I will just opt out of watching the shows on this network. The best way to vote is with your feet or with your wallet.

This Show was a great one. It was a show that had you on the edge of your seat for the whole hour. It motivated me to join the army, and now i am training to join the SAS (a far better military unit than Delta-Force). This is another great example of why everybody in the world thinks all Americans are stupid. You obviously do it to yourself.

CBS execs are idiots. This show was excellent and I was surpised to not see the previews for the new season. I don’t watch the drivil and inane stupidity of sitcoms or reality shows. USA or TNT should pick up the show. It would go perfectly with The Closer or it could replace the timeslot for Monk.

When i found out that 4 was the last season i was honestly crushed, The Unit had everything anyone could ask for, Action, Compassion, jealousy, Highs and lows of emotion. I think that taking The Unit off air was one of the worst ideas ever. I have never been so hooked on anything in my life I would sooner quit smoking than quit watching the unit. All my friends in the CFs love this show; they want it back too PLEASE BRING BACK THE UNIT, I will do just about anything to get it back even for just one more season.

Cancelling The Unit is a big mistake. It is a great show about something that is real in today’s world. Haysbert played an excellant part, as real as the sun. The rest of the cast were great suppoting cast. They were all equal but Dennis was the leader in the show. MASAH lasted eleven or twelve years and I think given a decent chance The Unit would also.

alls these guys think about is womans day tv thats why the 30mins is more popular than 1 hour long episodes of something that to be quite frank is 1million times better than 30mins of complete shite.
look at most of the really good series that are out but hey they dont care whats good and whats crap as long as the daytime is covered for all those bored housewifes.

We don’t watch a lot of prime time TV anymore, mainly because there isn’t anything worth watching. The one show that our whole family as well as co-workers all watched was THE UNIT. After seeing the reviews and votes on what shows should or should not have been canceled. I really think CBS made a mistake in canceling the UNIT. This was one of the best shows on TV too bad it has been canceled.

The Unit had good story line on both fronts, the lives of the men on special missions and the lives of the women at home. These crappy reality like Survivor or Big Brother sucks. Lets look at this in a different light. You have half the Military that watches shows like this deployed around the world. When we are home we watch it and when were not guess what?? We buy the series on DVD!! I would strongly encourage everyone to write CBS not with hatred and chaos but seriously how can they ignore a million or more votes coming in to keep the show going? If 6 million or more votes can be called and texted into some stupid singing reality show to keep them on, then I’m sure those of us that truly enjoy this show could take the time to write a small note to producers at CBS and get our show back on the air.

I can’t believe The Unit won’t be on this season !!!!! I’ve been waiting & waiting for it to start & now checking I am totally disappointed!! It was one of my favorite programs ever!!! I just don’t understand what is happening to TV…… Judge Judy is on twice a day & she is without a doubt a disgrace to the female race, biggoted, arrogant & I could go on…….. Is this a reflection of the caliber of audience that is watching TV? Also I was very disappointed to view the final episode of Guiding Light!!! I’ve signed up for Netflix & glad I have!

I too have been looking forward to seeing the new season of The Unit. It has always been evident to me that networks are out of touch with viewers with appreciation for quality. I am sick of the reality shows also and I dont just refer to Survivor, Big Brother etc but to all of it from American Idol to Amazing Race. I want drama and substance not cartoons and staged reality crap. That is why I watch STARZ AND THE MOVIE CHANNEL. No mindless commercials and contrived winners of staged garbage

I was trying to find out when the new season of The Unit started only to be shocked when I saw it was cancelled. With The Unit gone the only reason I have to watch CBS is during the NFL season.
I guess I will stick with the cable shows.

I can hardly believe CBS has cancelled the Unit. It was one of the better shows on the network. Last season most of the shows I watched, truly most, were on CBS. I see this season that is not the case. It seems to me this is their mistake.
