My Son and I were both very saddened to hear of the Cancelling of the show The Unit. How sad for all it’s viewers, we always looked forward to watching this show. I work for the Military, and my Son is prior Military. I know many people who loved this show. Please CBS…..can’t you please bring this wonderful and entertaining show back on our TV’s!!!!!! Now a days all we have is crap TV shows, Vampire shows….REALLY!!!!! It was always such an exciting TV show to watch. Why is it always about money, maybe some of you should take a pay cut, and bring it back on, at least it was about real things, real people, and possible senarios. SAD SAD SAD, FOR YOU CBS….YOU LOST A GOOD SHOW, WHICH WAS ALWAYS GOOD ENTERTAINMENT…..SHAME ON YOU GUYS!!!!

Bring the show back. The average people that view this show is 55. I dont know where they get those numbers. On my las 2 deploymentes to Iraq and Afghanistan that show is all we wash I’m talking over 15 thosend soldiers 19 and older.
the reason why I said over 15 thousend is because that is the average number of hits for that show on the media server combine betewin iraq and afganistand for year 2007 to 2009
what about the troops, how do you get ratings overseas? this is the most popular show among real soldiers.
please bring it back at least for one more seasson, believe me when i said this we see wife leaving husbands all the time because o deploymentes (mission come first) that is not the last thing we want to remenber about that show, another stadistic.

People, get it together! TV is all about advertisements and what to put in between them to get us, the viewers, to watch the commercials. We have no control over the networks’ craving for a better “bottom line”. I miss The Unit, too. But I understand the decision.

I liked The Unit. It’s a shame it couldn’t last longer. It should have kept its old timeslot or be given a better one because it kept getting delayed, over and over again. Maybe there should be a crossover of The Unit on another show to finish the storyline. It could have ended worse.

I have learned so much on this show. Felt the feeling of being proud of a country. I live in South africa. BUt I have learned the love of the Americans for their country. To be proud of her and to serve her people and not the goverment. It was so great to see the real feelings of the conflicts at home, and on the battlefield. To see what they do, that I wanted to do. It was apleasure to see a TV series that had no rasist issues, and to learn that their is always hope. Bringing the morals of man back in our lives. War is NO joke.
But I can tell you that this would have given all soldiers hope and pation for doing what they do. Hope they do bring it back. Even if it is a hole new team.

Aristotle taught us the arc of a good story. In the end a lesson must be learned. It may not be the way we want it to end but there is a lesson that we will keep with us and will make us better people.It is the only show that is not clouded with delusions of everything coming together in a fairy tale since and then having the whole story handed to you just the way you want it to. We are not children and do not want this show to be replaced by some other show that is nothing more than our mothers reading us a bedtime story. Where everything is handed to us as if we were three and the good guys always win and live happily ever after. Listen to the wise Aristotle and let us learn lessons from this show. Not senseless lessons that some wanna be actor is doing to win a million dollars. That’s not reality t.v. They are actors, they got on those shows because they have agents. They are puppets; what part is reality? What lessons will we learn from mindless criminal investigation shows? In this show we learned lessons of how to deal with conflict resolution. Churchill taught us, true genius resides in the capacity to evaluate conflicting information. This show always had conflicting information that conflicted with duty, orders, and morals. This show took Aristotle and Churchill’s lessons, rolled them into a show, and taught us something about ourselves and our lives. All I’ve learned (and if you watch the news, what the criminals have learned) from watching criminal investigative shows is how to evade and elude the authorities with forensic details. More “Mayberry” and more “Fort Griffith”!

I really don’t understand how The Unit could be cancelled and shows like Super Nanny, America’s Got Talent, etc. are not. The Unit was an action, drama, situation, show rolled into one. You should consider bringing back, if not a weekly show, but possibly a once a month movie. What have you got to lose!

Man, I can’t believe this,, my son has been recording The Unit and I have been sitting for hours watching these things,, and I lOVE this show. I never knew anything about it until my son recorded the re runs. I can’t believe I am not going to get to watch these any longer. This is depressing.. If people aren’t cursing and swearing and sexually deviant, no one wants to keep it on the air! I love even the music, everything about it was original! Medium is a joke, at least with The Unit, you can actually come closer to believing than watching some goofy chick having violent sweaty dreams that hint of her reality… zzzzzzzz I have fallen asleep just thinking about it.. I have been sitting and watching reruns on other stations waiting for The Unit to come back after Christmas. Taking over The Medium fron NBC was one of the worst decision you guys made. The Medium had it’s chance to be a hit on NBC and it couldn’t make it. So why would you take over a show known for a miss. I started to watching the Medium on NBC when it first came out and after two season it couldn’t keep my interst anymore. The Unit was my favorite show on TV and I am going to miss it very much. So, guess I need to find a different station to watch and quit watching anything that might come on CBS in the future.

The Unit was my favorite show. I am so disappointed. It was the most creative show on TV.
The cast was sensational. I did stumble on a re-run on Washington DC local channel 20 last night
and was delighted. Even the re-runs are better than anything else on TV now.

Then your going to leave us with that pathetic excuse of an ending. This show was one of the very best shows left anymore. It is shame that a show reflecting the courage of our special forces cannot make its in this country. As a wife of one of the elite, it made me proud that a show finally represented these brave men and women.

Sorry for being so late, but we just got the final CD set and learned it was over. As a 23 year veteran of the Army, Ok some things were a little stretched, but cancelled? Hmmm, I guess under this communist coup headed by the progressives and Barrack Hussein Obama, we sure as hell couldn’t have a show that showed America as strong and always defeating the bad guys, especially if some are Muslims, now could we? Yes! it extremely sucks they cancelled of one of the best written & acted show on television. Let’s be real we know who cut the show of the air do to the episodes that were to close to the truth. The U.S. Government got the show cancelled do to episodes such as (Pandemonium Part 1 & 2). Which they even state in the special features that they wrote the episode as pure fiction. Yet! months later fiction became reality in the news with an eerie similarity to those episodes that The Unit writes wrote.

I think this was one of the best TV shows that CBS had coming on that a lots of people enjoyed seeing that seem to be realist. Since you are talking about bring it back on into syndication what is the reason the same characters such as Dennis Haysbert, Regina Taylor, Robert Patrick, Scott Foley and company want be involved? I’m hoping whoever pick this show up they will consider having those characters back. Too me they were they actors and actress that made the show seem exciting to watch.

This is why we stopped watching alphabet channels. No consistency! They are dying a fast death and cable is eating them alive. It continues to be disappointing when executives who are barely connected to life decide what the rest of us would like to view. I have to agree with those who point out that only the devoted could regularly find the time slot where the network moved it.
I was always excited to find it and looked forward to this season. I will just opt out of watching the shows on this network. The best way to vote is with your feet or with your wallet.

Why don’t you cancel the suits who decide things like cancelling a good series like “The Unit” and putting who knows what kind of drivel on the air for us to ignore. There is precious little to watch on TV the way it is, but to take one of the good ones off is stupid. Get a life, CBS!!!

This Show was a great one. It was a show that had you on the edge of your seat for the whole hour. It motivated me to join the army, and now i am training to join the SAS (a far better military unit than Delta-Force). This is another great example of why everybody in the world thinks all Americans are stupid. You obviously do it to yourself.

CBS execs are idiots. This show was excellent and I was surpised to not see the previews for the new season. I don’t watch the drivil and inane stupidity of sitcoms or reality shows. USA or TNT should pick up the show. It would go perfectly with The Closer or it could replace the timeslot for Monk.
